Our theatre that shows Rocky here is dying and we need donations.

We started showing in Chandler Cinemas on September 16th, 2006. Since then, we've managed shows every Saturday night with occasional themed shows and friday shows. We've had a number of newspapers write articles on us and have appeared on the news a few times.
In January, ownership of the theatre was passed on to us, the Rocky people and since then we have been struggling to keep our theatre alive.
Now, with our hundredth show approaching on August 2nd, we're not sure if we will be able to stay open even that long.
We, the Rocky people, have been trying frantically to keep it open. I Have a handful of money I'm going to donate when I go this weekend - but we need help.
Appealing to the Rocky freaks, you know how hard it is to go without Rocky.
So I humbly ask you if it would be in your hearts to donate just a dollar or two to our cause, and if not, do you have any ideas at all which might help us? Here's a link to the bulletin posted on myspace which may explain it better than I can.

Have you ever been to Rocky where the cast owned the the theater they performed in?
Ever had a Rocky cast lose their home?

We show normal movies and the theater is co-owned by 'The Midnight Movie Mamacita' who does other midnight movie specials, but we're still having trouble pulling in enough money even after all that.

Our cast has only been here for a year and a half or so, and before that there was no Rocky in our area. sad We don't want to be homeless again.

Do you think you could pull off every other Saturday instead? If it will hurt more than help try selling shameless plugging items or cheap-o things like glow sticks, prop bags, or even outing for donations.

If I had money, I'd be sure to donate. We gotta let the party and the sounds rock on!

I think for now we'll do alright.
We sell prop bags and other assorted stuff, so that helps. We're having a big fundraiser soon, and we had a rave a while ago that brought in a nice chunk of money.
And this weekend we had a fairly large audience, so that probably helped.
