I thought that I would open up a forum where anyone in the guild could come and discuss/debate some of the things that go on in Dragonball Z that may be controversial.

My 2 top ponderings are: 1. How long do Saiyans live? 2. What happened to Goku at the end of GT?
my thoughts: 1. It's either about the same as a human's or super long. I mean, it's never specified in either the manga or anime, and GT poses questions about King Vegeta's age that makes everything super confusing.
2. This puzzle's me to no end. Was he taken by Shenron/Shenlong to become the protector of the dragonballs? Or is Vegeta right and it's nothing more simple than he went to train?

I know that saiyans definately do not age. By the end of Dragonball GT Son Gokou is approximately 57 years old. But he still looks the same age. They supposedly retain their youth so they can continue to fight. I would guess that they live much longer than humans, because on the last GT movie "A Hero's Legacy" it takes place about a century after the ending of Dragonball GT. And pan, even though she is only 1/4 saiyan is still alive, and in pretty good condition for her age.
