I have decided that since Gears of War 2 will be coming out soon, it is about time to make some changes to the guild. I'm going to change the sub-forums and make some necessary Crew changes.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve the guild, post it here to send me a PM.

I'd say a sticky where people can post their progress on Horde, and get help if needed from other members if necessary. exclaim

Good ideas!
A Campaign sticky and Horde sticky (I especially like that idea since I'm sure it's gonna be hell) would be great.
KK, could you elaborate on what you mean about the mini competition? Like, give a prize to who ever beats it first?

Since gears 2 may attract new players, maybe we should have walk throughs to campaign levels and a guide for some of the newer, harder enemies.

I see. A guide for new players. That's an interesting idea.
For the new enemies, we could try putting up a temporary thread asking the guild members how they defeat them. Then when we have enough replies, we can close the thread and use the answers that have been given in the guide.
As for the walkthrough, we would need someone willing to take the time to do it.

i dont think you should have walkthroughs and things people should complete it alone or with a friend without any internet help

I don't think a walk through is a good idea do to other web pages having it up the day the game comes out.
You should make a walk through of all the new guns and how to use them to the max.

That is true.
Maybe instead we could just have some links to walkthroughs since there will definitely be some almost right after the release of GoW2.

as a mini-competition i was thinking just put the gaia names as ranks on who beat it when o: like a top 5 id throw in 4k to the first finisher .. not much but hey it's just small competition x;
save the money for a gow2 tourny ? we have a few people still on this guild .. + bigger hype from gow2 , i think we could pull it off now : D
im all for re-making a thread for it .
we should see about the RP subforum though .. if not many people want to RP when gow2 comes out , it probably should be changed to something else .. like the play now subforum ... it didn't hit off like i had hoped ><
oh and i think a walkthrough would be great actually o: not everyone needs to use it but those who WOULD like to could . i mean , if anyone has a capture card .. this guild could have its own video walkthrough o: i plan on buying one once i can ... if i can get it when the game comes out i'll gladly make one , along with the cog tags/journals/whatever-the-hell-cliffy-wants-in-there items haha

I agree on the video and it seems like a good idea also if you guys have computer cams we can have a live chat and play game with the guild.
You know, have some games , play some co-op ,help the other guild members out with achievements.

I think we should do a Gears of War 2 tourney. Something that would allow the guild to be more active. I know a lot of guilds that do tourneys, so I don't see why we can't be smart enough to organize one.
I'd be willing to pitch in some Gold. Should we have an entry fee?
And yeah, we need to do something with the RP and Play now Subforums.
As for the walkthrough, if anyone is willing to put the time into it, then they can do it. But like I said earlier, there will be a lot of walkthroughs once GoW 2 comes out.

Since there maybe link achievements for playable characters online we could post those achievements for each character.

You should definetly rebuild the roleplay, its not to great and the weapon list is all messed up. A rebuild on that would be great.
