Robert Neville is a scientist, the last man on earth who is trying to find to discover a cure that will reverse the effects of a cure that was supposed to cure cancer three years ago. Everyday he send out a radio signal to see if anyone out in the world is alive and to come to New York. The remaining living things on earth are the infected. People that were infected by the cure for cancer and mutated into human eating things. Will Robert be able to reverse the mutation or will it be too late?
Have you watched this movie yet?? And did you watch it in the local VJ? How do you like this movie and be truthful.. were you a little scared watching the movie? Because I know I was XDD

you are so correct! This movie is erie in a way. I mean how freaky would it be to live in a world like that when the animals ruled everywhere and the people were scarier than the animals. He had a good life and then it kinda just went nuts. I watched the two alternate endings to it but I just could not decide which one I liked best. If you can get the DVD and don't watch it on tv - the DVD lets you seee the different endings which is much much better.

i saw it at a theater. it was kinda scary at first but after you get into it, it's mainly just really suspenseful. i don't know what the alternate endings were though. sad
It was a great movie and i got so into it that when the ending came i was like eek whaaaaaaaaaaaaat???????? But ya, it's worth watching and i'll probly buy it.

I surely liked this film. It shows how one man is dedicated to get the mistakes of his people and right them. He has to work through all the pain of lossing his family and all of his old life to become a new. For him the reason for living is to cure the infected and make man kind perfect again. I love the dedication one shows to correct what they have done wrong. The sad part like in most movies of this genre the hero has to die for the story and cure to live. But aslo shows what he was willing to do just to correct his mistake once again. The movie was good I give it that and enjoyable. But could have gone a little deeper into the origin of the problem and solution. But in my point of view gets a good three starts and one thumb up.

I love Will Smith in everything he does, but this movie was a good remake of the original film done in the 70's I think. At the end the way the mutant guy showed his intelligence was cool because you think they are just animals that eat people, but when he was pounding thru the glass and showed he understood he was going to get Will Smith it was like oh my God! He's more sentinent or intelligent then you first thought. I won't say what happened at the ending just in case you haven't seen it. But I hated the ending so much! It just wasn't supposed to end that way.

... A.W.E.S.O.M.E. move was completely magnificent and its one of those movies that Show Why Will Smith is one of the best actors ever he Performed the role to absolute perfection ... i loved the movie every moment of it i actually saw the movie twice... really Good movie... the story was awesome and the director did an outstanding job too loved the look on WIll's face when he took the pin out of the grenade and went forth to tackle that annoying lil diseased mutant dude... it was really sad when Sam died though ... sad

I agree this was wild !! Just hink if that ever happened - how would you feel to be the only one left alive and not know if there were any others - I mean your day to day life of trying to find food and not get attacked by the creepy crawlers - how totally awesome would that be. I have not watched the ending that Guide was talking about but I did buy the dvd and want to see the alternate ending - can't wait !!

i bought the DVD two weeks ago and watched the alternate ending but i still think the first ending is alot better. I would give the original a 10 and the alternate a 7. Either way. it's a great movie though.

Cool movie... but very creepy.... Lol... not a watch alone in the dark sort of movie... I cried when the dog died.. lol... (sorry for those who havent watched it yet) I think the ending left a bit to be desired... I thought the house wouldve been alot more secure then that....I dont know... lol.... he seemed to be so prepared for everything else... but yeah cool movie ... 8/10

I think it was good the dog died. It would have been too cliche' if the kid and her mom took the dog when the guy died.

I liked the movie I jumped at sense that spooked me, I cried when the dog died I was crying like a baby, so when Will character died I couldn't I was still stuck on the dog.

Oh, psh, I thought it was right silly.(although the dog was adorable ;.; )
You ought to read the book. It's ten times better and loooads more thought provoking.
I guess they couldn't make Will Smith as much of an a*****e as the protagonist in the book, though >w<'' it just wouldn't be right...
