Magic is a part of all of our lives, be it through spells, karma, luck, or simply miracles. However, the media often portrays exaggerated abilities when it refers to magic, and everyone experiences it differently. Do you believe in magic, and if so in what form? Does your religion come into play with your belief (or lack of) in magic, or vice-versa?

I definatly believe in magic, from the mundaine things like luck to all out miracles. In my experiance magic happens when I concentrate on something hard enough, with focusing through spells. Yes, religion does come into play here but, it has yet to let me down.

My religion, Islam, does believe in magic, and it being something dark, horrible and wretched.
It comes in the form of curses and hexes, and I have seen a curse, and I have seen its affects so yes I believe in it as well.
Along with that, we also believe in demons, devils, angels. But Angels have no alliance with this magic.

Angels are a very interesting topic. In my, well, let's say philosophy, Angels are the more blatant messengers of the Divine. Kind of the last ones to whack you on the head with a stick and say "PAY ATTENTION!" if I'm blanking on the previous signals from the universe.

I do believe in magic and I always have. Nearly a year ago I began reading about wicca, and it was exactly what I aldready believed, religion wise, and how it is linked magically.
I believe magic is always there, and you can take advantage of it's power, but not how it is portrayed in most films, shows, or novels.
It is something sacred that is neither good nor evil. My belief of magic was before my religion, and Wicca has only strengthened my belief.

It's strange, but now that i'm at college i'm working more spells than ever before. And it's all basic stuff, wards, personal protection, and so on but i find myself renewing them every few days...

OceanGypsy It's strange, but now that i'm at college i'm working more spells than ever before. And it's all basic stuff, wards, personal protection, and so on but i find myself renewing them every few days... same here on magic normally it is enchantment wards and other basic things

one of my friends says that the Veil between worlds is thinning, but i haven't noticed anything unusual.

I do believe in magic. And that it can be good and bad. Not evil, just bad. I don't really have a set religion, I believe in a great many different things, but I think magic plays a regular part in our everyday lives. It's just a matter of how much we acknowledge that magic when it's placed in our path.
