Due to personal, financial and sanity reasons, I'm not planning on making a real effort to attend Jacon. In fact I might miss the entire convention, depending on whether my SO really wishes to attend. I simply have no time to plan for this.

Because of this, I will pass off the responsibility of the panel to anyone who is willing to step up. One person told me awhile ago they'd be willing to help but I've not seen them much in the guild so I'm not certain the offer still stands. I have not yet received a confirmation nor an email concerning the panel request, so you will have to email Mr. Sedeghi to make the arrangement. Please let me know if you are interested so I can direct questions and such from people to you.

Also, this will obviously affect the Party/Sleepover event thinger. Well the sleepover is definitely canceled. No one seemed interested. The party will hinge on whether we make the effort to attend Saturday or not, as that is the only day I might attend. If I do, I will plan on getting a hotel room and still have the party after the dealer's room closes before the rave.

I will, of course, keep you all updated.

7 March 2006 - Panel Update
I just submitted the request for the panel so hopefully in a few days we'll have that nailed down.

With MegaCon over, it's time to recover and gear up for the convention. We have one meetup being planned in the GoF guild [linked above] and I'm working with convention staff to get a GaFC panel room on Saturday. It pays to know the staff well, Mr. Sedeghi himself has promised me just about any condition I want [we'll see if he delivers though].

I don't know if I'll go to this one. I've decided that I shall only attend two cons a year. One is always Megacon.. I'm deciding if I should go to JACON or AFO.

if I can go, I might reprise my role as God at Jacon, that was fun.
