Discussion!
For years people have been saying this is bad for you, that is bad for you, you can't have this, now this is good for you, this is good for you, you should do this and eat that, drink this...what is actually good for you!?
Eggs, they used to be bad, then good, then bad again, then good, and bad...and...make up your damn minds, are they bad or good?
Water, no where has it been written that 8 glasses of water a day is actually good for you, where this came from, who knows? Also, water in bottles is bad, but only if the bottle is hot? WTF? Years ago they said bottled water was better then tap water, so gradually people drank bottle water over tap, now they are saying the bottled water has a major flaw? DAMN YOU!
SO! What out there is actually good for you and bad for you? Discuss! DO they actually know? Where is this hard evidence that this or that is either good or bad for you? Post your replies, if you can, show evidence to your case on the issue.
Does humanity really know?

I think what is good and what is bad is all a matter of opinion. Unless something is rotten then it really is bad :'[

Post your replies, if you can, show evidence to your case on the issue. Does humanity really know? Eggs ARE good for you, except they have large amounts of cholesterol and saturated fat. So eggs need to be eaten in moderation, or you need to only be eating certain parts of the egg. (Not the yoke..>_> wink Bottled water is fine for you; the reason people say bottled water is better is because it is usually sealed against contamination and because it is doesn't contain the impurities that tap water has, such as chlorine, etc. Tap water is also usually fine for you, and if it contains fluorine, it is even better for you, as the health benifits of fluorine helping your teeth far outweight the health negatives of tap water. Of course, you could just find bottled water with fluorine.

I dislike Aquafina though. It tastes like gutter water and I can get that for much cheaper. I like Smartwater, with the little gold fishy on the inside of the wrapper :'D

I like Smartwater, with the little gold fishy on the inside of the wrapper :'D Isn't Aquafina distributed by Pepsi? I'm pretty positive that awhile ago Pepsi started labeling their water bottles saying something like "This water comes from a public tap source" meaning it's just plain ol' tap water they put into bottles. I've never been much for bottled water because sometimes I feel like there's a plastic-taste. Go figure since who knows how long the water could have been sitting in the bottle. Also, some bottled waters are really expensive. I could seriously care less if the water came from some mountain spring or a far away island, especially when it's probably just for show. I don't usually like tap water either, but I'll drink it in Portland. For some reason it tastes like nothing there and I mean that in a good way. None of that yucky chlorine taste. Otherwise, I would prefer something like tea or juice. Might as well enjoy life and drink something that tastes good.

heart Ah, I have to agree. This stuff is reeeeeaaally confusing.
I remember when the Green Team first introduced the idea, I stopped drinking out of bottled water right away >_<;
Generally though, you'd think that bottled water is more sanitary than tap water, but of course this throws everything off.
As for me, I drink Kangen water. Supposedly, the filtration system of this Kangen water is very good for you, cleaning out more bad stuff in your body than any other has before.
Why do I think it does work? Well... 1) I saw a demonstration of it. It looks very legit and the founders are the reason for number two. 2) As it originates from Japan *not to be sterotypical or anything*, they come up with things like waaay ahead of our time. One of the original founders has been drinking the water for [I think] 15 years? And as people say it, he looks 10 or 20 years old younger than he actually is. 3) The science of the increased level of alkaline in the water for positive purposes just makes sense.
Edit: Well, I just looked it up and now they have it with a copyright over the "USA" label rolleyes ,

You do have to take into account also that the Japanese are clean freaks(not a bad thing). They also have different diets than most of the world so yeah. I'm sure the water is great though. Maybe I'll try some 3nodding

If I get a major injury, I'mma tell them to ship me over to Japan x3 Yes, doctors here suck! Okay, I understand facilities are small and that it can crowded quickly, especially since it's been the highest emergency room usage ever. But, since when does it matter if a patient isn't yours? A while back my mother was in the ER, she was there for 8 hrs and they did nothing, but later charged a butt load. Anyway, she was roomed next to a real old lady, I mean deathbed old. Okay more back ground, We live in houston, my sisters live in san antonio, my mom was visiting while I was here in houston with my dad. So after 3 hrs of driving we get there, find our way to my mom's room and wait it out with her. My dad is impatient and complained about no one seeing here. Seems it's on a chart of who's more important emergency wise, not how long you've been ******** YOU DOC! Anyway, while we were there the old lady next door softly said she need to go to the bathroom, no one came to her aid, she started to scream it old lady voice...so it wasn't strong. A doctor type walked by heard her and kept walking...WTF!? A person is crying out for help and the ******** walks away! So my dad goes to tell them in person that lady needs to go to the bathroom, guess what those ******** said, her nurse isn't here right now. WTF!!!! Who gives a ******** if here nurse isn't here, are you going to deny her the restroom because of that minor issue? It would seem they would, 8 nurse ******** standing around doing jack s**t and because none of them were her nurse they didn't have to do anything. Well my dad pissed at them till finally they did something about it, not out of the want to help another human being, it being their job and all, but because they were sick of my dad bitching at them. I should stab each one of them and say, please wait in a room, your nurse isn't here right now, so please wait in pain for your turn. mad It was either this hospital: http://mh.sahealth.com/or this one: http://www.universityhealthsystem.com/Both are right next to each other, but it's the general area.
