Faces turned away in disgust
Acceptance no where to be found
Love never came by your door
Loneliness was your only company
Emptiness consumes your soul
Nothing but your pains remain

Damned for desperate hopes
Obstinate in your final decision
What stirred in you the will to try
Nothing but torment greeted you with every sigh

Tortuous lies follow every step in that haunting echo
Overwhelmed and destroyed, now all but hollow

Hatred was in their eyes
Escape was futile
Love never came
Lonely days stayed the same.
