This space is for announcements about the Guild... and other things that I need everyone to see you can feel free to reply and bump all you want in the topics, just please don't make any.
RANDOMNESS:
the member free land: post whatever topics here you wish too! Run free and scamper around like happy lil people here! Nephilimalch will be your moderator so follow his rules.
CONTEST:
you can post here, only if you are giving away a prize with your topic!!
I will post the lottery as well as the weekly game here, plus whatever other contests I make up as I go along. This is your place to win some cash.... Games change all the time and this I would say is the gathering place of all at the Guild.
RANDOM AWARDS:
This is the place for people who have won things, like my random award prizes that I make up when I feel like it : ) You can check it out to see who has been a victim of my randomness in the past.
MEMBER OF THE MONTH:
This is where at Every month I post the winner of the member of the month, as voted by all of the members. If tradition follows, after a member wins member of the month, they disappear and we never see them again. O.O
OTHER:
places that I put things that don't really fit anywhere else. See specific list in the subforum before posting.
DEAD FORUMS:
old contests that aren't active anymore.. and other forums that are dead and pathetic... you can browse through them.... but try not to post on them.... thats like walking on a dead person's grave.... lol
Also this will be where blacklisted threads go. If you don't follow the rules you will be on display here for all to see what a dummy you are.Consider that a warning!!
MINI-SHOPS AND COMMISH:
A place to post your talent for money. Sell whatever you want in your mini shop, and it gives members a chance to partake in the fruit of your loins.
DONATIONS:
This is where I list all the people who have Donated money to me, to be given to the Guild. Since any money donated to the actual guild is untouchable, except for buying subforums, then it seems pretty pointless.
QUESTING:
This is like the begging thread of the Guild. You can post up your dream avi, and try to convince people from the guild to donate to your cause!
CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS:
This is my personal space for guild information. Private so none of you are able to assess it. The captain needs her private space. (Moderators are allowed to join.)
HOLIDAY HAVOC:
This thread is changed for the next holiday. It's where you can find fun festive contests and games that are constantly changing.

STORY OF CREATION:
When I first got on Gaia, I simply logged on everyday to get the free crap, and me and my friend went fishing all the time, and harassed other members.... *sigh* the good old times. I joined one or two guilds for funzies, but they weren't that good, so I decided to save up and start my own Guild!!
I decides to call the Guild : THE GUILD OF RANDOMNESS AND FREE STUFF, for what could be a better name. I had a really low joining price: a mere 150G, to make sure we aren't getting complete scum in here begging for stuff from everybody all the time, how annoying. but low enough I could get some decent members, which I have : )
The first prizes started out as the mass collection of crap I had accumulated from the Daily chance everyday, and have moved up to monthly collectibles and 100,000G of my own money given away in one week!!
I could be one of those people who keeps all their money to buy cool things and just make my avi awesome, but I really like what I have done here. Its sort of like a lil mini community inside Gaia, and its all I do when I get online.
I enjoy spending my time here with all of you and hope you feel the same way about the Guild. Perhaps in time I can even manage a Million Dollar giveaway! but that will be more to the future still!!!
Recently (just before xmas 0 cool Kijo had gotten extra hours at work and started to realize she couldn't spend as much time online as she used to. Being the awesome Captain that she was she didn't want to leave the guild to die without her so she asked me (Risablue) to take over. It's been a rough transition seeing as how I haven't been on Gaia as long as she had and I haven't got the same income as she had but it's starting to come back to life and I hope soon it will be the awesome guild that I have come to know and love. If it wasn't for Kijo and this guild I wouldn't have stayed on Gaia for this long and I wouldn't have made some great friends. Not to mention all the awesome stuff I've won!
And the legacy continues!

MUCH NEEDED RULES AND GUIDELINES:
While in THE GUILD OF RANDOMNESS AND FREE STUFF you are expected to follow the following rules:
Gaia's ToS and R&G
Gaia's Terms of Service and Rules and Guidelines should ALWAYS be adhered to. Follow them or face the consequences. The ToS and R&G will be enforced.
Conduct
Be respectful to each other. Do NOT flame, yell, harrass, or be hurtful to anyone else in the Guild. This includes guild members, oldbies, newbies, and everyone in between. If you feel like you simply cannot post anything nice, then please just refrain from posting.
Post in the Appropriate Place
Each subforum has a description alerting you to what does and does not belong there. While Moderators do have the ability to move topics between the subforums, habitual posting in the wrong subforums by any member is wrong and will be considered spam. With the addition of the new subforums it can get a little tricky, but they're pretty self explanatory. Please use the subforums to keep the clutter down. If you'd like a thread moved, please PM the Captain, cannot kill kijo, and let me know.
Bumping
While bumping your topic IS allowed, I ask you to watch the amount of bumping that you are doing. Constant, repeated, nonstop bumping will be considered spam. *exception applies when it is a Bumping Thread, contest, etc where the point of the thread is to Bump.*
Attempt to Use Proper English
I am not an English or Grammar teacher, and I understand that some people aren't native speakers of English while others simply aren't good at punctuation. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect an honest effort. If you are not a good speller, type your posts into a word-processing program and spell-check them before posting them. In addition, no netspeak or leetspeak will be tolerated, nor will various "cute" styles of posting such as aLtErNaTiNg CaPs, bolding or italicizing entire posts (to the point where it hurts to read it), or never-ending strings of emoticons. Compliance with this rule will make life a lot easier for our large non-native-English-speaker population as well as Moderators and our regular members. Not to mention it will help all of us understand what the hell you're trying to say! We can't help you if we can't understand you!

FORUM RULES:

General Guidelines:
* Everything inside the GGN must comply with Gaia's TOS.
Things such as cyber, abuse, racial slurs, hentai, porn, etc.. that are disallowed by Gaia's TOS are not allowed in the Guild just as they're not allowed in the rest of Gaia's forums.
* Report things to Guild Crew and Captains first
In the Guild, the guild Captain and their crew are charged with keeping order in their guild. Most violations should be reported to and dealt with by them. Moderators are usually only needed in the case of Captains or Crew not acting to keep guild members in line or being the ones who are breaking the rules themselves.
In case you don't Know:
Captain:
Cannot Kill Kijo-- I am the master of all. Obey.
Moderators:
XxArjayxX The Mailer- is the senior Mod of the Guild. Helps me with anything I need him to do in the guild
Nephilimalch- mods over specifically the Randomness thread, but also a strict Mod forcing rules to be followed in all areas of the guild
Risa Blue - Human Resource mod- come to her if you have been wronged in some way, or need a problem fixed concerning the guild. Also helps keep order in the guild as well.
So if you need any sort of help and I am not available, these mods are available to help you out in the guild, and have permission to take care of business if I am not around for any such reason.
* Spamming is not allowed
Good Discussion Habits:
* Be civil.
Even if you don't agree with what someone is saying, don't resort to abusive speech.
* Respect the wishes of the thread creator.
If someone asks you to leave their thread, do so. Keep your comments on topic for the discussion that was started and don't derail the thread by going off on a tangent.
* Read the first post thoroughly.
Don't assume you know what the discussion is about based soley on the title of a thread. Be sure to read the entire first post so that you're making intelligent comments and don't misunderstand the purpose of the thread.
Bad Discussion Habits:
* Abusive Language
Insulting others or using excessive swearing and vulgarity may result in your post or thread being removed. Remember, if someone is abusive towards you, Report it, do not do the same in return. This will only lead to more trouble.
* Trolling
The act of creating a post or a thread that is made to get a particular group of individuals angry or sad. This is a serious offense on Gaia, and will be dealt with appropriately.
* Over PG-13 Material
Effort should be made to keep everything in your threads and guilds to a PG13 level. When doing a Roleplay with Violence, for example, please keep descriptions toned down.
* Hotlinking
Hotlinking is the act of going to a website, and directly linking to one of their images. An example is if someone from Gaia used the Image URL from google.com's Google image and posted it on Gaia. When you want to use an image from another website, please save the picture to your computer and upload it to an imagehost, such as Imageshack or Photobucket
* Spam
Spamming is making a post in a thread that is unwelcome, or has no merit to the topic at hand in the thread. Spamming is also making a thread that is for nothing but bumping, gaining gold, etc. Spamming can also constitute emoting a page to death... that is just tacky.
* Hate Threads/Guilds
Hate threads are threads or guilds that are created in order to show hate towards another person, race, religion, etc. These are seen as Trolling and will be dealt with as such.
*Edit* People who do NOT follow the rules mandated by this thread will be logged in on the Black List. repeat offenders will be punished, and if the actions continue after that, it can lead to being banned from the guild.

well there is nothing in the rules about saying the word cookies, and you can't get harassed by a cookie, so no. You can ask them nicely to stop, but they don't technically have to, and you can't make them.
