I read the book in one day. I loved it a lot. When I read the scene in the bar with song "Savin' Me" I thought I would love to see that! I e-mailed Sherrilyn Kenyon's MySpace and asked her if there might be a movie in the works, but there was none. She's not adverse to the idea, however. I even figured out how to cut the book (unfortunately) to make it fit in an allowable time frame. Just make the first half flash backs.

Yeah, Sherri was saying that she wasn't adverse to a DH movie - but it MUST have good special effects! She said that nothing ruins a movie like bad special effects.

True. Bad Special Affects do ruin a good movie but so does cutting out most of the book and remaking what's left. i.e. Blood and Chocolate

I can't stand watching a movie after I've read a book because they leave out so much. I'm always disappointed.

Yeah, it's a royal pain when they take a great book, then cut it up and throw in crappy special effects...wonder if they did that to Twilight ..hmmm...

Le Gasp! You've mentioned the bane of Rei Rei's existence in his very own guild! I don't think he'll get to angry though, it's only his matter of opinion on whether he hates Twilight or not...

I was thinking it would be better if they just skip the movie or tv series deal and just go straight to a full anime series. You can definitely get away with many more things in anime than on a movie. People might not end up liking the actors they picked for the characters, some things will be cut off and yeah even the special FX might end up ruining the movie.

Well if they CG the entire thing the animation will be quality near realistic and the special effects can still be fantastic.

I agree Ravyn & SilverWolfCub. Ive been watcing the Twilight commercials. And all I could think were "Bella and Edward are ugly!" then, the other day I was watching some star thing and turns out Bella and Edward are only ugly in Twilight.
