Many of you know from the Guild that I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in August 2005. Well I have decided to dedicate myself to the National MS Society on my "good days". I've also decided to participate in the Annual MS150 bike ride from San Antonio to Corpus Christi. This is a 150+ mile bike ride that I will begin training for and have received approval from my Neurologist!

The links below provide details on this event and I wanted to share them with Guild. It will be a grueling ride but I am determined to achieve this goal or make this an annual goal in progress until I accomplish it. Please do not feel you need to donate, I simply wanted to share the news with the guild.

I certainly applaud you dedication. That's a lot of miles...

Well the MS150 was a huge success and so overwhelming! Marvin, my son D, my mom and dad accompanied me. I took some photos and wanted to share with the Guild. I'm still able to accept pledges for a month after the event as well. I simply wanted to share the emotional impact it had on me. I especially wanted to mention a team named Warriors of Freedom. This team has defended our country, are disabled vets and still rode from San Antonio to Corpus Christi for MS awareness!
