Savith is taking a moment to nap in the cool of the main hut, sprawled out on one of the mats in the shade where the ocean breeze can roll in. He's kicked off his boots and pulled his arms from his uniform so h's bare to the waist as he lays on his stomach, snoring lightly.

As she walked into the hut with Fire Bright Dancer saw Savith sleeping on a mat. She made a little face at him as she steped past him. What a tangle of gloom and gruff he was at times. Like thick vines. Hard to move and such but if you could get past them who knew what was on the other side. She sat away from him and placed her cat so his tail might flick Savith in the head from time to time. Then quickly set to looking at his claws and paws to look busy.

Savith didn't wake immediately. Savith didn't even wake quickly. He didn't even wake fully. Instead, after several flicks, the normally stoic glider snorts faintly and brings a hand up to brush at the offending tuft of fur. A mumbled in coherent almost wordless sent escapes his mind, the mental equivalent of a sleep-induced grumble. And yet, with his tight grip on self-control dead asleep, the send has more than a few traces of emotion. It's filled with the sense of a father grumbling at a child over something that really doesn't bother him in the slightest.

"He must be dreaming of his family" She smiles softly but would never try to pry into his dreams. Instead she starts checking Fire Brights teeth and that makes him flick his tail more. He hates his teeth being fussed with.

Alright. The tail flicking is starting to get to him, as evidenced by the scrunching of his nose and a more coherent send. **Enough, Rosen,**he mutters, hand reflexively grabbing at the offending feather(tail) to pull it out of his son's (clearly by the weight of the send) hand to jam under his pillow (one of Llune's woven bag things that was near by).

Savith didn't have a firm grip of said tail, so as the feline stood, the tail slid from his grasp. It didn't rouse Savith further, and so he settled back down with a mental murmur that was once again mostly incoherent.

Dancer looked around when she saw he didn't wake. How else could she pester him? Still she didn't really want to pull him from sweet dreams if that is what he was having. He might smile in his sleep and that was a once in a lifetime. Still the temptation was great to make him fuss. So she started making small cat noises at Fire Bright to make him make sounds back. That is untill he lets out a loud roar and she bites her lip. Oh no. That wasn't what she wanted.

That'll clear your head.
The mewling didn't get much but a few faint stirs, a couple of shuffles, and a frown. The roar, on the otherhand, snaps Savith's eyes wide open, and he rolls away onto his back, then hip, then in less than a heartbeat up into the air near the top of the woven structure. His hand falls to his hip, where his talonwhip would normally have been, but this too he had taken off and left by his boots near where he had dozed off. His heart was racing and his eyes wide and wild with fright, and it took more than a few moments for him to seem to wake up fully and realize where he was and what he was looking at with the great cat and his bond, the elfess Dancer.

She hid her face behind her friend and said quietly. "Sorry he woke you. I think he roars from time to time looking for others of his own kind." She did not look at him for fear of an angry face.

"Ah," Savith replied after a few more moments, still hovering just out of reach (unless the cat jumped). He eyed the creature with uncertainty as his now waking mind was realizing that he had very little room to maneuver in. Inching backward as best he could, Savith lowered himself toward the ground again.
"I... understand," he added, though really didn't sound very convincing in the slightest.

"A tigers roar can be heard over a great distance. He is a male and roars now and then to see if a female might be in the area or to let any males near by know they are trespassing." She chuckles softly as she scratches the beasts chest. "Birds are social animals as well. Did your bond like to be with other bonds?" She peeks up at him. "Unless you don't want to talk about it."

"She was... agreeable," Savith replied as he settled on the ground and began pulling his unifrom on fully.

It felt a little strange to Dancer after being bawled out by Savith to talk to him as nothing happened. It was like having a fight with her Mother. She knew she was right but might have been wrong in how she went about things. Now that aquward feeling till someones will gave in enough to make things better. "I always found it hard to get along with the many squawking birds in the forever green. Still the colors on them were beautiful and I would collect many feathers for thing." She shrugged a little still not really looking much at Savith.

Savith just pulled his uniform on the rest of the way before dropping to the mat to brush his feet free of sand and getting his boots on. Naptime, it seems, was over. He just made agreement type of sounds as Dancer spoke, as if practiced in the 'yes honey. that's nice, dear. really, sweetie? go on, darling. hmm? what else, beloved?' noncommittal smile and nods to a woman chattering.
