The city of Misuteru is built at the base of the Yukiyama mountains. These mountains are steep, though still shallow enough to be walked up, and drop below freezing temperatures quickly. In fact, the snow on these mountains seems completely pristine, untouched by so much as a stray footprint and completely covering every part of the mountain, not even daring to show an occasional crag without a complete blanket.
The image of this mountain is understandably majestic, but never let your guard down in this world. Cloud cover can cause these mountains to be dark for weeks at a time, sending the temperature plummeting below levels capable of supporting life. If you plan to survive here, you better have plan for keeping warm during that time.

The hapless fighters were let out near the base of the mountain a ways away from Misuteru, and quite a bit higher in the air than seemed safe. After some screaming from some of the girls and a loud 'Damn it!' from Felix, the group hit the ground with a commutative 'ooph.' Felix then rose to his feet, rubbing his side where he had hit the ground. Kurai pulled herself to a sitting position, rubbing her head, and glaring angrily at Felix.
"You idiot!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, "You could have killed all of us!"
"But didn't," Felix replied.
"You didn't know what that thing was going to do. No one knows! It could do anything any time you use it! For all you know it could have poisoned us, leading to a slow, painful death!"
There was some nervous muttering from the prison girls, but they mostly remained silent, watching the fight and the young girl who looked pained towards both of the two.

Nex appeared with his same momentum he had coming into the sphere, and crashed into the snow, tumbling a few yards and getting buried. After about a second the snow above and around him had been blown off. The source was Nex with a blade drawn, still the same as before, just with his eye patch down. He looked to the group with one sad looking eye, still glowing crimson, before taking a great leap away from the group. If one had eyes sharp enough they could see what seemed as Nex fighting with himself in the snow, and hearing the occasional yell.

In the eye's of Jin the mountains where almost to beautiful for his mind. "It's like I'm back home." mount Fuji came clear into his mind, his childhood memories flashed back after all this time in blood, he could remember his first life. Jin sits down and takes a brake... "It's gonna take for ever to get my soul back" Jin rubs off the sweat on his face and takes out his sack of water.

(( I know it seems a bit dumb to have my characters in the same thread, when the main reason was to keep them apart so people won't be too lonely... But I figured this would be the best place for him to start off. ))
Kabibona'kan awoke laying on the cold hard soil underneath a couple feet of snow. "Now where have the spirits sent me?" Being a winter and wolf spirit, he had no need to fear the cold, so he stayed as he was. Kabibona'kan turned his head a bit, putting an ear to the ground. The combination of his great hearing and connection with nature allowed him to hear mostly everything on the mountain. There was a group of people, and a single one very close to the mountain. Remembering how humans were, Kabibona'kan decided it would be best to confront the single man. Slowly, he brought his head out of the snow, just so his eyes were above and gazed about. The nearby animals he heard were just where he thought... First things first, hunger. It seemed he always was when the Spirits sent him somewhere. His thoughts of 'why' however were slowly replaced by the need to feed. A nearby rabbit would be all for now. Catching it was quite easy, poor thing didn't even notice Kabibona'kan before it was too late. After wiping his mouth with his hand and thanking the creature he turned in the direction of Jin. As he ran swiftly down the mountain he froze the snow underneath his feet just enough to be unnoticed in visual change, but enough so that it allowed him to run on top of it.

((Don't sweat it. Probably won't be the last time you have two characters in the same area.))
"And did you have any better ideas?!" Kurai fell silent, her gaze falling embarrassed to her feet. "They were going to take Agitha, and I wasn't about to lose her again."
One of the braver girls spoke up. "And what about us?"
It was Agitha who responded. "I'm sorry. I never meant for any of this to..."
Everyone fell silent this time. Felix and Kurai exchanged apologetic glances and moved over to comfort Agitha. The few prison girls looked around awkwardly until they noticed Nex, intrigued by the occasional quiet yell, but bored by the seeming lack of activity. It was several more minutes before anyone spoke again.
"We obviously ahve a few problems to work out," Felix said, looking at Kurai, "And I want to hear everything that's happened in all this time I've been gone, but we have something else we need to deal with right now. Yet another person we have to go save." He looked over to Nex, noticed his struggle, but decided to speak anyway. "Nex!" He shouted, "Yukaria is still needs help. I'm going to get her next, and I would be grateful for your he-" It was then that he noticed another person coming up lower down the mountain. He didn't look familiar, and Felix eyed him cautiously, pointing so Kuria and the others would see, hoping Nex would notice as well. He kept his hand on his scythe, just in case.

Nex glanced back to Felix. Crimson was glowing under his eye patch and his other eye switched back and forth, much like his voice as he called out to Felix. "ALMOST DONE!" He then looked back to... Himself? The other direction. "I deserve this! You called me in the middle of combat, I obliged without cost, kicked a**, and then you retreat?!" "It wasn't my fault... There was no other way, and you wouldn't have been able to take them all by ourselves!" The arguing went on for a good five minutes or more until Nex slammed himself exceptionally hard into the snow, which sent up a plume of it. When Nex stood back up his eye was faintly glowing gray. "YOU. ARE. MINE! You're only mere memories in the shard of Logic. You have no power. I own you. And unless you'd actually come here yourself, DEAL WITH IT." "Hm hm hm... Your offer is tempting, Shard... Too tempting..." And with that, the crimson was gone. Nex hid his worried face under some hair as he held his head down and made his way back to the group. ... What if... When he got back, he threw on a fake smile and looked up. "We're good! So, what now?"

Kabibona'kan slows a few meters away and begins walking towards Jin with his hands up, bent at the elbows. "Calm down, I mean no harm." His voice seemed deep, yet chilling. "Greetings, I am Kabibona'kan." He would have went to put his hand on Jin's shoulder, or maybe his wrist, but Kabibona'kan doubted humans and stayed his distance.

"A local, in these lands" Jin speaks to himself softly as the Spirit walks to him. After hearing the friendly greating, following the Spirts name, Jin greets himself as well; "Hello Kabibona... bibano...Kabi? I'm Jin, It's kind of odd how you can speak the same language as me, and yet have such a bazzar name" Jin leaves his stance and begins to feel the cold again, making him sigh. His staff returns to it's holding stance between his arm and Armour. "I need to find my sword, can you help me?"

"I'm not necessarily a local to these lands in particular..." Kabibona'kan looked about as he spoke. "I know a few languages, and guessed on which to speak to you. You look human, yes?" He then decided it would be best to speak and walk, his actions showing his agreement. "You can walk in my tracks, the snow is hardened enough to walk on, but weak enough so your sandals will stab into it and give you traction. That is if you are wearing sandals... It's been too long since I've seen anyone with that type of gear on..." It was then he noticed he was walking back up the mountain, where the group of people where. "Wait, where is this sword of yours? Is it with those people?" The idea seemed to make him uneasy. But if Jin knew them, then they probably weren't hostile...

Shocked at Kabi's hearing abilties He kept his mouth shut and thought in his head for once "His presents is almost impossible to notice even with him right next to me.. should I trust him, he is alone... no wait, If I can't tell that he's near me with my eye's closed then he has to be in a pack.. " Jin smirks and then opens his mouth; speaking ever so softly, "I'm more then human, I'm samurai... but that's a personal thing." Jin nods his head and follows Kabi footsteps. Jin confirms that he isn't from this world after all. "if you want a pair of them, even though I dought you'll ever need them, I can make you a pair, If I'm lucky enough to see the forest again." Hearing that people where infact on this mountain rested Jin's worried mind. "I need that sword, it's my soul and honour, and I really can't fight without it, I'll do what ever it takes to get it back."

"Ah yes... Samurai." It has been ever so long since Kabibona'kan has even heard the title remembered, none the less spoken. "I have heard of Samurai, and even met a one while I was... On a task, I guess one would call it." Kabi wondered to himself it if were safe to keep his back to someone he has only just met... But the man was a Samurai. And Kabibona'kan would notice any attacks make in the snow. "I'll pass on the sandals, thanks." It made him laugh lightly. How long has it been since he actually talked to someone? "Out of curiosity, once you find your sword, what do you plan on doing?" Hearing his own voice again was almost enough reason for Kabibona'kan to speak, but his curiosity for other people was always rather high. Besides, what else could he do as they walked up the mountain? Might as well get to know the man he just agreed to help.

Jin knew the offer was dumb to asked which made him chuckel along with Kabi. When the word; task came to mind, some old flash backs came to mind which forced Jin to ask the definition of his wording, "Your task was to kill him, wasn't it, I don't blame you if you did, we're always viewed as a treat. My sword is my soul and meaning of life, killing is the only thing I'm good at and once I get my hands back on my soul, I'll be challenging a skilled and an amazing warrior." Jin moved around his helmet to scrach his head "don't think I'm gonna attack you, you're way to helpful to hurt, even after we're done with this travel, I'm in your dept."

"It wasn't..." Kabi looked off to the side as he walked. "But he did die. Or so I think anyway... It's been so long my memory is a bit faded. I would never kill such a rare person as a Samurai, no matter what there were doing or have done." He then looked back up. "You're never in my debt. I don't keep debts, I help worthy others without price. If you'd ever help me, don't do it for debt, or for returning a favor." Kabibona'kan almost laughed again. "Sounds pretty crazy, I guess..."
