This fight was long like hours long, so some people liked it and others hated it. I hated this fight maybe Im a bad sniper but I could nevr catch him. What did all of you think.

Depends on how much time I have on my hands. But honestly, I dunno, most of the time I feel lazy, so I kill him after that Cutscene with Volgin and The Boss, and instead have lots of fun taking out the Ocelots.

well it wasn't all that hard, on the map it showed his possible hidding spots and if your really close to him use thermal goggles to track him and shoot him in the face with a shotgun!

dude i love that fight......it's was awsome in m opinion......it's actually easy if you don't go running around in plain sight like an idiot......i espically like what happens when you save it and don't play the game about a week later..

I love this fight. I don't play it obsessively, hell I bearly play it at all. But there's just so many tactics. This fight'll scare the crap outta ya if you're not careful...
PS: The alternate fight ain't bad either.

the fight was okay, but I hated it when I first played the game. I was like wtf! where is he? it took me 2 hrs

PERSONALLY THAT IS MY FAVORITE MG AND MGS BOSS FIGHT. I SNEAK BEHIND HIM IN ABOUT 15 TO 30 MINS GET HIS SNIPER AND THEN LET HE RUN. I GO FIND AND BEAT HIM WITH HIS OWN GUN. MWAHAHAHA!! I DESTROY HIM ninja

It's very creatively designed and an excellent challenge.

If you're strapped for time, save and quit. Maybe he'll die next time you get to play. Haha.
But seriously, what I like about it is that it's not quite a boss fight. A boss fight is a big ending to a level. But I see The End fight as a level in itself.

I never did manage to snipe him before that cutscene. I took a shot at it once. I didn't like the fight at first, but that was when I didn't really know what I was doing. The great thing about it is there's multiple ways you can take him out. I personally like sneaking up on him and holding him up. That's how you get one of the camos.
