Among the smallest of the Aruis Islands. This isle is nothing more than a tiny green field upon a mesa-like rock formation. The island floats above the main land, and isn't known to be inhabited by the locals. Only a single tower rests upon the edge of the island, which people insinuate that it once served as a sort of light house for gummi ships or such. Story has it that that the tower had become haunted, thus no one has trended on the island for years.

The grass upon the island was rather tall. The sporadic growth of the plants, the dirty formation of the nearby rocks, and the nearly broken down fences showed that the island hasn't been trended upon in years. In fact, Mellenia's footsteps left broken grass indentions, leaving a fresh track. The air was moist that day, and weeds sprouted everywhere. The only evidence of previous human contact was the broken fence, and the large tower that loomed toward the other side of the island.
"Well, this would be the kind of place that Dawning would grow, probably. Wouldn't you think so, Rog?" THe girl had a gleeful smile on her face. Her eyes keeping out for any strange plants that she couldn't identify. Her doll, on the other hand, had a didn't perspective on the landscape, but he kept silent about it. Mellenia's eyes peered up at the tower in amazement. "I bet you anything that it's in there!" She pointed her finger toward the top of the tower. Her determination set, she began to trend across the field of grass.

It took only several minutes for Mellenia to walk inside the tower and to come out with a deep scowl on her face. Obviously, her search haven't come up with anything fruitful. Her eyes were closed when she walked out, a breeze caught her face, but even that couldn't calm her nerves. "Well, that was a waste of time! It's nothing but a dusty old tower! And haunted my foot! It was just a stinkin' old heat generator that was causing all that creepy noise!" Mellenia complained out loud. She let out a deep sigh and composed herself back toward a weak smile. "At least, it does have some good herbs to use in other recipes though. Remind me to put lavender in my next Paitao Hased Rice dish."
"I didn't think it would be that easy anyway, Mel. Let's go try to find someplac--- Ack!" At that instance, his words stopped as a piece of paper smacked right into his furry face. The doll waved his arms around madly, until Mellenia plucked it off his snout and looked at it.
"Hey, look! What's this about a desert? Hmm... Artifact huh? That's just vague enough to be Dawning! " She said mostly to herself. "What to check in out, Rog?" Though, the doll knew well enough that it didn't matter if he agreed or disagreed to it, his mistress will just insist on going, so in the end, it would be better for him to agree. All in all though, the doll didn't understand an once of Mellenia's logic about it being vague enough to have something to do with Dawning, but what choice did he have? "Alright then! We're off!"
