Her tan and red fur ruffled up as she sat against the wind in a soft treeless plain. The wind was blowing pretty hard, but the female didn't mind. With the kids, or boxes safely at home with Aiden Tulip could get a day to herself. She sighed as the wind hit her once more. Today was boring. On her "Day Off" there was no one to talk to. Even her friend Willow was probably busy. At home taking care of boxes Tulip'd bet. Another sigh escaped her lips as she looked up at the sky. Slowly the music flowed from her lips and Tulip began to sing. That was what attracted Willow and Aiden to her at first. It was something that others said she was good at.
Her song flowed through softly expressing her excitement and boredom. She was very dedicated to these songs that she wouldn't notice someone coming up to her until she was through. And, today was one of those days where she was lost in the melody of her own songs. Like she was stuck in her own little world. Unreachable by others.

And as if Tulip's past songs had attracted the people that were dear to her, another hauntingly familiar ulaya of one of them came padding by. His white eyes glowed rather happily to day, and his step seemed to have a bounce in it. Charu had recently given birth to two beautiful kits. They were still in their boxes, but he knew they would turn out wonderful. Today Charu just told him to go and enjoy himself, take a day off from watching them. Haseo had always been on the watch after the kits were put in their boxes. He didn't sleep at nights, and in the morning when Charu got up, he'd crash.
So she told him to sleep when night fell, and she would watch them. Having gotten a good's night sleep he left Charu with the boxes, and decided to go get something to eat as well.
However, as he trotted, he heard a voice carried by the wind. It was a beautiful voice, and he knew it was a female's voice.
Haseo padded after the voice, curiosity perked his interest. Lately he had heard that two family members, Poison and Aiden, had had children. He was a little wary of Poison's soon-to-be kids. Who knows how she would treat them. Poison was a very cruel ulaya, and the father seemed very nice... Oh, Haseo sighed. He felt bad for the father, he'd be in for a big surprise if Poison drove him off.
Shaking his head he looked ahead, wondering of the mate of Aiden's kids... His white eyes stared ahead and he caught glimpse of a very light, yellow female. She had a maroon-like red streaking down her back and shoulders. Her tail was white with the same red, and she was singing...
Singing...

Tulip's songs would've usually lasted much longer then it did, but today was different. A scent drifted over to her and she stopped singing. The scent was familiar. It smelt of... Aiden? Had he lost the boxes already? Oh why did she leave him alone? Whipping around expecting to see the familiar face of her mate her eyes met a red Ulaya. One with bright blank eyes.
Confusion riled up in her mind. How could he smell so close to her mate? Unless... He was one of Aiden's many family members.
Slowly Tulip took a small step towards him and asked softly, "Are you related to Aiden in any way?"

He would've usually defended his family's name. Instead, Haseo's eyes squinted down as he examined the female ulaya. It was almost impossible to see his own emotions through eye reading. There was emotion in his eyes, but Charu was usually the only one to read that emotion. Instead, ulaya could hear his emotions through his voice, and his movements.
"Actually, yes, I am." He nodded with a friendly smile. "Aiden's my brother." With a flick of his small tail, the red ulaya sat down, his white eyes surveying the area. He couldn't see in normal color, so to him; the female was varying colors of gray, and a light gray. The area around them was also gray, white, and black to him. Haseo never took this ability as a gift, because he wanted to see in colors like almost everyone he knew.
"How do..." He looked away, curiosity pecking him, "How do you know him?"
