By winning enough battles, both unii and aphids can rise in rank, enabling them to take on more powerful foes.

[ Ranks ] Unii / Aphid
Soldiers All aphids and unii alike begin as common soldiers. They aren't really that strong, but make up for it in numbers.
Battler / Knight&Mages These are soldiers who've gained a lot of experience on the battlefield. This occasion is marked by their first use of an ability. Uni battlers become more adept at blocking/avoiding attacks, others choose to sacrifice defense for a kamikaze attack style.
Aphids can choose two paths, one of might, or one of magic. With their cute little knight helms, they headbutt all in their way, or some prefer to avoid direct conflict all together, creating fire-starting sparks to sprinkle upon their enemies.
Sage / Beserker&Mageknight Uni that have seen enough battle may choose to channel all their experience into attuning themselves with nature, some literally combining with their bonsai home. As before, they have either focused on attack or defensive magics.
All the adrenaline caused by battle has caused some aphids to morph into Berserkers. Their strength is enormous, and not necessarily stupid mind you. A group of these will easily devastate a tag of soldiers. The mages of old on the other hand, have added more bite to their name, combining some physical attacks as well as honing a more powerful ability.
Generals These are very strong and special characters, but do not deal in direct battle. Their time will come to show off their strengths, but for now they quietly muse over their next move. This rank is already alotted to the key players of the plot, and so cannot be gained through battling.
Special Other ranks may be specially granted throughout the event as well as through sales. Or some higher ranks may be added if enough interest in battling is there.

[ SKILLS ] Other than Generals and some special cases, they will only have one ability at a time.
Battler / Knight&Mages Uni gain one of the following abilities: - Tail Whip - Uses your tail to defend yourself. >> When defending, it adds +5 defense
- Uni Charge - Charge straight at the enemy to inflict damage with your horn. >> When attacking, if number generated is 10,20,30 etc., its adds +5 damage.
Aphids gain one of the following abilities: - Helm Spike - Knights gain the ability to use their helm to headbutt their foes. >> When attacking, if number generated is 10,20,30 etc., its adds +7 damage, but causes you recoil damage of -3.
- Spark - By rapidly moving their claws, Mages can create a small static charge they can throw like minigrenades that explode in fiery sparks on impact. >> When attacking, if number generated is 10,20,30 etc., its adds +5 damage.
Sage / Beserker&Mageknight - Leaf Shield - Makes use of a nearby foliage to help shield them from attack. >> Randomize 5,10,15, etc. to activate, will automatically half the damage taken from last attack >> Can actively activate ability once per battle. To do so, you call it out in a post without generating any number. The move will activate for the next post you randomize.
- Leaf Storm - Leaves gather and whirl to attack the enemy. >> Randomize 7,17,21, etc. to activate, will cause 1.5x the damage, rounded up. >> Can actively activate ability once per battle. To do so, you call it out in a post without generating any number. The move will activate for the next post you randomize.
Aphids gain one of the following abilities: - Blind Fury - Vision goes red and strength increases two fold. >> Randomize 1,11,22,33 etc. to activate, will half the damage taken from last attack and will do 2x the damage/defense if attacking/defending. >> Can actively activate ability once per battle. To do so, you call it out in a post without generating any number. The move will activate for the next post you randomize.
- Lightning Shock - Create a black cloud to shadow your foe, before striking them with electricity. >> Randomize 7,14,21, etc. to activate, will cause 1.5x the damage, rounded up. >> Can actively activate ability once per battle. To do so, you call it out in a post without generating any number. The move will activate for the next post you randomize.
Generals - ??? - Can activate each ability immediately twice per battle.
Special - Camoflouge- A defensive move belonging to spies and ninjas allowing you to blend into the bark. >> Attacks that are odd-numbered only do you half the damage.
