You proceed downstairs. As you go down the hallway of the basement you do not see many rooms and most of them contain cob-webs, dust, and mold creating a weird aroma. As you reach the dark mahogany door you see two things: the first one being the word "Psychology" it appears to be newly written and is in cursive on on a white background, on a wooden plaque, embroidered in gold. Below it, in faded and smudged out blood-red lettering contains a few more words. You peer in closer to read but can only make out the word "Beware."
Courageously, you forgo the warning and open up the door. A weird "click" sound is made when you turn the door handle. After opening up the door you see an archway made of stone, where the room wall begins. You do not shut the door for safety and proceed slowly passed the archway, as you walk under it a weird presence of power is felt. Once on the other side you turn around. You are face to face with a stone wall, no noise was heard. You press your hands against it. It has a rough and cold stony surface, but nothing happens.
"You cannot return the way you entered in this room," exclaims Alvarem.
You slowly step back, as you do, you see the whole room, all the walls are stone-made and there appear to be no windows or doors. The flooring is a dark green marble and its surface is still very shiny, it looks like it has not been walked on recently. The room is shaped like an odd Trapezoid, one of its sides goes out further than the other. The ceiling is very peculiar, the walls themselves rise to infinite until there is no telling how far one must go to reach the ceiling. The room is lit by a marvelous and an intricately crafted chandelier that hangs from the ceiling. It is circular and contains crystals in the shapes of stars, suns, and moons. Each of these crystals emanate a inviting warm glow. A strange magic is said to power these crystals.
The desks are arrange in no peculiar manner, there is no defined pattern, except that they all face the teacher's desk which is located in the back of the classroom. Some desks are very close to each other and some are far and in-between. The wooden desks are nicely sized and have plenty of space to place materials. However, it appears your professor has provided you with quill and ink.
Unlike classrooms of the modern time, furniture of all sorts, shapes, sizes, and materials are placed in a an odd manner around the room. Some still have sheets over them protecting their ancient quality. If you pressed your hand against one of these fabrics your hand would be filled with dust. Books lie cluttered everywhere but not of them are written in your known language. Some books look so old and fragile that the slightest touch could break them, other seem to be magically spell-bound with blue, silver, and gold lacing. Tapestries fill empty gaps in the wall which vibrantly color the room. Everything does not seem to belong and yet that is where it is placed. Books can be on the floor, in a drawer, or a displayed in glass casings. Yet, many books are still cluttered around the classroom.
There is not much moving space with all the clutter and it is assumed sitting in a desk will be much more comfortable. As you walk to the desk, things in the room begin to move. You see a book flutter across the air above you, reach a destination, and then return to its immobile state. Other objects such as keys, orbs, pieces of parchment, small lock-boxes, and other various strange items, seem to move into random places at different times. You see your professor, Alvarem, standing behind the desk in the back room.
