Across the ocean from the continents where battle is breaking out, a large island has already lost it's last battle. The kingdom thrown down, and monsters are everywhere. The villages are walled places, and the cities, destroyed. From this chaotic enviroment, a last ray of hope shines on the sea. Many ships was launched during the final hours, but they were all of them destoryed, except for one, which escaped the burning breath of an armada of sea dragons. They seek help, to restore the balance to the island kingdom.
This RP is going on at the same time as Most of the others. This island has never been discovered before, and the RP starts with the characters lost at sea, not knowing how to get to the main continents. My RPC will be Kain Baleal, an almost middleage man, who looks to be much younger. Please don't use any character's already in use in the other main RPs.

Kain sat at the front of the ship, looking out at the stars reflected on the calm waves of the ocean. He stood up and moved to stand at the railings, to get a better look. He sighed. So far the voyage had not gone very well. They had lost three crew members already. The supply of water they had was water that they had drawn from the ocean, boiled, and then cooled down with help from the ship magician. Food was begginging to become a morale issue for the crew, as all they had left was fish. Kain sighed again. Things were not going very well.
((If anybody wants to be the captain of the ship, or the ship magician, go ahead. The wizard has to specialize in ice magic though. I'll make them if nobody claims them in a short amount of time.))

((I'll be an ice sorcerer!!!))
Clarissa sat down next to Kain, only to follow him when he stood up. "How are things? I'm not so confident in this." Clarissa was holding a block of ice in her hand, which she was trying to shape into a three dimensional heart without saying anything. She was making a face, since the block, after 2 hours, still looked like a cube.

Reki was perched on the railing of the ship not too far from Kain and Clarissa. The golem wasn't really doing anything, just waiting until she was needed. She had been told not to get in the way, and since people were constantly moving around on the deck, she had decided the railing would be a good place. After all, she didn't want to go below deck. There was too much of a rocking feeling down there. The golem heard Clarissa talking, and her curiosity got the best of her. She jumped down from the railing, her taloned feet making small tapping noises on the deck. "Confident about what?" She asked the ice faerie.

Clarissa jumped and faced Reki, startled. "I didn't see you there," she sighed, relieved that it wasn't an attack, "I'm not confident in this whole voyage. We've lost three men, and who knows what will happen next. I don't know about you, but I have much of this world left to discover, and I don't want to die just yet." Clarissa had grown fond of the people on board, and she didn't feel indifferent to their feelings and thoughts anymore.

"The world..." Reki got a blank look in her eyes, that happened when she tried to remember something that had happened too long ago. "Yeah!" She said happily, concluding from the lack of memories that she hadn't seen much of it either. "And we can do that where we're going, right?" She asked eagerly. "We'll get there, after all." Reki was truly an anomoly to people who did not know her habits. She seemed fearsome at first glance, with birdlike feet, clawed hands, and strange catlike ears. Not to mention the longsword that she wore constantly. She was full of unending energy- she didn't need to sleep, nor did she need any food or water. The only time she really paused was shen she was 'shut down', or put into hibernation when she wasn't needed. But she had a mind like a child's. She was constantly curious, and that curiosity got her into trouble.

Serena paced back and forth on the aft deck, staring into the skies, pondering her questions. She knew she needed answers, but she couldn't quite put into words what the questions were. All she ever did on the ship was sleep during the day and pace during the night, with the scattered meal here and there.
Placing her hand on the railing, she walked along the ship, following the sky with her eyes, trying to pick out where they needed to go. She knew the directions, but which direction to head. Time was fleeing by them, and soon they wouldn't have any more time left. Maybe it was just a game, trying to sail for as long as they can. That was it!
She rammed into something solid, and stumbled backwards, caught of guard by what was before her. She brought her eyes down from the heavens to look at what she had just run into. "Oh, it's just you, Reki," she said quietly, and noticed Clarissa, and Kain, all nearby. "Hello Kain. Hello Clarissa." She looked back up the sky. "The stars, they aren't telling us where to go, just where we're going." She smiled softly. "We'll reach land eventually. They don't let you lose."

Reki smiled at Serena after the girl had crashed into her. It hadn't hurt, and she wasn't good at noticing pain anyway. The comment about it being just her was confusing- who else would it be other than her? But then the golem broke into a smile. "I knew it!" She crowed. "We're gonna get there, Serena said so."

(I'll be the captian, tell me what you guys think of my new character.) Elimnar was in his quarters, his sword lying against the wall. He was studying maps of the sea and the land far away which they were to go to. They hadn't recieved word from any other ships that set sail before or after them. Maybe they ran into the same trap we did. He thought, thinking back to the flight of the homeland. They had been waiting a little ways from the cove where no one would expect them. The waves were dangerous around the sharp rocks but some how they didn't sink. What if they didn't make it? Elimnar thought, but he soon pushed it aside. Impossible, Reyish is the best captain in the fleet, not to mention the admiral would for sure have made it. Elimnar countered his first thought with the second. He went back to his maps wondering what this new land was going to be. There had been someone who came from there who was strange but he told them of a great continent that stretched a thousand of the little island they had lived on and more. Elimnar only hoped they were going in the right direction.

((I don't see much about his habits yet, and I'm to lazy to go find the profile and read it))
Clarissa smiled at Reki, wishing she could be and act that innocent. This voyage made her very angry at times, for Reki was just like a child; not having explored many wonderful parts of the world, was going right into what could be her death. "You really shouldn't be here," Clarissa whispered, always one to speak her mind.

Reki's ears twitched as she thought she heard something from Clarissa, and she turned toward the mage. "Huh?" She asked, looking confused. Did you say something?" She thought that it had been an order, but it didn't make sense for Clarissa to say it so quietly that she couldn't hear it.

"Hey guys, calm down." Kain said. "I'm sure we'll make it." Kain grinned optimistically. "Maybe we should go talk to the captain. Elimnar is certain to know what we need to do. Better to be busy than to just wander around aimlessly, and worry." Without waiting for the others, he went into the captain's cabin.

"Might I remind you that in order to enter the captain's quarters you must first knock and wait for permission Kain?" Elimnar said without looking up. "Although you'll never listen to that peice of advice, you never have for that matter." He said finally looking up at him. "What do you want?"

Reki had followed Kain, mistaking the man's suggestion for an order. "Serena and Kain both said that we're going to make it, but Kain wants more proof." Reki told him. "So are we? We are, right?" The golem was technically Elimnar's property. She had been bought along with the boat, and Elimnar controlled the boat. In her mind, that meant Elimnar controlled her as well. But she obeyed the orders of pretty much everyone on the ship.

"Is there anything I can do to make the voyage go more smoothly, Captain?" Kain asked politely, yet earnestly. "I've just been sitting around most of the day, and then I heard the others talking about how... bored they are right now, and it got me to thinking about what I could do to get us on the right track again."
((Are you aware that the picture of Elimnar is Calintz's, the captain of a mercanary group in a game that I'm currently playing?))
