So, you have stumbled upon my defense against the dark arts classroom...I wondered how long it would take you. Let it be on the record now for you to know that this class will not be easy. Any cowards may leave now. As for the rest of you...get ready, because if you slip you will fall. And it’s a long way down.

Monique strode into the class and took a seat near the back, looking around for Kayla, and doodling Draco in her notebook.

Katie strode confidently into the DADA classroom, looking around through amber-brown eyes. There was only one other student in the room, sitting near the back, so Katie herself went to the far side, by the windows, and took her seat, still looking around the whole time. She began humming, out of boredom, snapping the elastic bands on her wrist.

Monique looked up from her doodles to see Katie snapping elastic bands against her wrist. Monique thought about it, and decided not to pick a fight. As far as Hufflepuffs went, Katie wasnt really that bad.

Katie easily got bored of that, and leaned back in her chair, hanging her head back to look at the back of the room upside-down. She growl-sighed, and asked, in a very whiny voice, "Are we reallyyyyyy gonna be the only ones in the whole class?"

"Oh come on, it's not that earl..." her voice trailed off as the saw the clock. "It's THAT early?!" Katie questioned, loudly, her chair speeding back up to land four feet on the ground. "Man, that sucks!"

"Yeah, and only a failure of a Slytherin would actually arrive early to class." She replied. Despite being a Hufflepuff, she did have quite a sharp tongue.

Katie made a small 'hmph' sound, and looked to the front of the room as to not see Monique. "Who'd come meet you, I have no idea.. Must be pretty desperate on friends." She had become serious very quickly.

Roderick walked into the classroom and raised an eyebrow at the three girls already arguing so early. "Tch.Women." He took the farthest seat possible from the three girls and leaned back in his seat lazily.
