Wall-of-Text Warning: This post is LOOOOONG. Also, please keep your QQ statements to a minimum; I'm just stating facts about my BG.Well, that definetely sucks for ya. At least you aren't in the Vindication BG.
I'll have to admit the Vindication BG does pretty good in AB, so I can't really complain there. EoTS is a close second, provided the group isn't a "Fight-In-The-Middle-For-The-Entire-Duration-Of-The-Battle" type of group (which, unforutnately for 75% of the time I do EoTS, it is). The only problem I ever faced in AB and EoTS is a lack of D on the nodes we have captured...sometimes, I AM the only guy on D at one node...which is something I've become used to.
Then there's WSG, or as I like to put it, "My Personal Hell". It seems that every time I do WSG, there's a 50/50 chance that the group will break out into an argument that reeeeally pisses off half of the Horde in said group. How can it break out, you ask? Most of the time it involves some guy not following the advice/orders of another player who is trying to lead the group to victory. Other times, the group breaks out into an argument because we don't know what the hell we're doing due to a lack of orders/advice from another player. Either way, it leads to colorful comments like "lol this group sux gl winning this", and people leaving abruptly.
As for Horde AV victories in the Vindication BG...it's almost a myth. Four times out of Five the group will INSIST on a total offensive zerg...which only works if the Alliance is somehow slow and doesn't have much D, or assuming your group is fast enough and knows what they're doing. The rare One out of Five times, you'll get a group who actually puts people on D...but then again, there's not enough people on D, or too much people defending in the wrong places, or the D is way too scattered to do anything useful.
Frankly, though, Horde's gonna keep losing at AV, due to the fact that a fast lost usually leads to 100-300 Honor a pop, which is sometimes more honor than winning any other BG that's NOT on it's Double-Honor Weekend. Unfortunately, like being the only guy on D at one node in EoTS and AB, I have grown to accept this fact that we will lose most of the time at AV. I just hope that WoTLK's new BG is the AV Killer, in terms of the Honor Grind.
Although
this WoWWiki article deals with BG troubles, and solutions to said troubles, for Alliance players, I've seen these problems happen Horde-Side, too. It contains a few good tips that I keep in mind when I do a BG...except for AV, since it's written from an Alliance perspective. If anyone you know is new to the BG scene, I suggest showing them this.
