Yet hold me against the light, do you see any bullets inside? If you own a shop in Aekea, here is the place to post all about it. Doesn't matter if you sell clothes, robotic parts, books, or own a hair salon of your own! Post about it here.
Don't know what to say? Here are a few ideas
;What's the name of your shop? ; What do you sell there? ; Can you exchange bugs/trash/ink here? ;Are you the shop keeper? If not, who is? What would they be wearing? ; What would be in the background of the shop image? ; What does the shop look like? ; What are some quotes the shop keeper would say? ; Where in Aekea is your shop?
NEW: For those that submitted a shop, you need to head to "where is your building" thread and pick out a building for your store. You also need to post a description of your building, its inside and outside. You wouldn't find one if you magnified, because you got the wrong girl.

Yet hold me against the light, do you see any bullets inside? The name of my shop...well, there's 3 'shops' two of which I own. They are part of a four level building, located in the lower right hand corner of the Aekea map. See the building with the larger light on top? Yep, that's the Pit Stop! First floor is called Fresh Paint, and is a thrift store. Clothes, MCs, EIs, furniture; you name it, I probably have it. There are lots of items there not normally sold in shops, but would only be able to be bought by going on quests. Most of them are common store items at a lower price, and lower quantity. The background would be one wall of shoes, and a couple racks of clothes with a spiral staircase.Fresh Paint would have an option of two storekeepers, much like Barton Boutique. One of them would be me, and I could be quoted with: ;"Hey ___, nice seeing you around!" ;"No, my face does not get cable." ;"I'm not a robot, I'm a cyborg, not that there's anything wrong with being a robot, you know." ;"How'd I get like this? An accident" ;"Don't mind Retrostacja. He's just happy to see you!" The other shopkeep is Kluteau, a robot I constructed out of junk parts. She's essentially a mix of Bildeau, Bludeau, and Ribateu, but 10 times cuter. She'd probably say things like: ;"Eeeek! Oh, didn't see you there." ;"Do you like my hat? I love my hat!" ;"I know where everything is, just ask me!" ----- Grindin' Gears is the second floor, and it is a club. It would sell music related items, whether it be housing items for music players for your avatar. Perhaps even music clips (like from the prom game) to go into profiles. The background would be a black light lit room with a mixing table with two huge speakers on each side looking out into a crowd of dancing people. The shopkeep here is Melodeau, a modified juke box bot. He'd say a few things like this: ;"Hey man, you looking to jive? You've come to the right place." ;"Music is my life. What else did you expect from a jukebox?" ;"You want to request a song? Wait like everyone else, man." You wouldn't find one if you magnified, because you got the wrong girl.

Inside it is painted a pastey yellow with a light green trim going around the top of all the walls. It is full of short long shelfs down the middle that are overflowing the perfectly orginzied comic books covered in everything from cheap comic protecters for the cheaper books while the rare wares are vacume packed. The outer walls of the shop are covered with a varity of nerdy toys, posters, and other such things. ; What are some quotes the shop keeper would say?:

"Wash your hands in the sink to the right of me before you look at any of the books."
"YOU LOOK WITH YOUR EYES NOT WITH YOUR HANDS!"
"Poetry advice is availble untill three, not three o-one, three!"
"Food and drinks are not aloud within 100 feet of this shop!"
"You try to eat without lips!" ; Where in Aekea is your shop?:Building 21!

Up to the lower left of Aekea hidden behind other building and on a metal plateau a rather small house is placed. It looks like it's made out of rusty metal and just barely stays together. The house also have a small garden, full of flowers and a few bushes. All made out of metal of course! Above the slightly rounded door a sign is hanging that reads "Futuristic Future & jewelry".
In the small shop you can get your future read (race doesn't matter, even gives readings to robots and such). You can get a tarot like reading where a few square shaped pieces of metal are used. The most popular style though is the "scraps" reading. A bag full of screws, metal scraps of all kinds and other such things are emptied on the metal table and the future is read from how they land on the table. On your way out you can also buy hand made jewelry. It's also made from metal scraps and some even hold magical powers. Such as a certain necklace ensure that you soon will meet the love of your life. There's also a ring that gives the one you give it to bad luck for a month.
The owner (and as of now the only one there) of the shop is no one else than me. Sitting on a pillow behind a low metal table. In the background there's endless piles of metal scraps and junk. The shelves aren't hanging straight on the wall and the floor have boxes with just scraps in them. After and/or before your reading it's quite likely that you can here me say;; "Buy something on your way out." "My readings are 147% accurate." "Stop asking things, this should be about you, not me!" "What are you staring at? Never seen a human sized cyborg pixie before?" "Watch where you are stepping, I wouldn't want to get blood on my floor." "Clean? Ahahah, why would I waste my time with that?" "Stop crying, it's not my fault you will have a horrible future."

Well, since everyone else is using a format, I will, too. Baaa.
What's the name of your shop? Crossed Wires Bar What do you sell there? Booze. And lots of it. If you can think up a drink, I can mix it. Can you exchange bugs/trash/ink here? Nope, at least not right now. I'm busy enough. Are you the shop keeper? If not, who is? What would they be wearing? Yeah, it's me, the one and only Anubis. At least until I get some help in here... What would be in the background of the shop image? Behind the counter and me, and there's a wall of alcohol bottles and assorted crystal-clear glasses. What does the shop look like? Dark, a little smokey because I can't very well take away smoking from my customers (I may as well take away drinking, too). The counter makes a full square in the middle of the place, which has tables, both normal and tall, with a pinball machine, a few arcade games, air hockey, and a jukebox lining one wall. The place is kept as clean as I can get it, although the doorway occasionally smells like vomit thanks to some guy who's had a few too many. I apologize for that. What are some quotes the shop keeper would say? "What can I get you to drink?" "If you want a hamburger, go to a damn diner! It's drinks only here." "Oi! Somebody get that guy up off the floor!" "Are you really twenty-one? Lemme see some I.D." "Don't forget to pay your tab. ...Or else." "In the words of a great cliché: You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here." Where in Aekea is your shop? It's located in the business district, where most of the shops are. I get lots of customers because of its location, too.

What's the name of your shop? Revvin' Engines ; What do you sell there? Beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. ; Can you exchange bugs/trash/ink here? No can do....Not only would I not have a use for them in my bar, I'd be taking Peyo-chan's, Moira-san's, and Devin-san's exchanging jobs....^_^; ;Are you the shop keeper? If not, who is? What would they be wearing? Technically, one would say I am. However, I'm just the owner of the bar. Pukie-chan owns the rest of the Pit Stop. ; What would be in the background of the shop image? ((picture to be put here later)) ; What does the shop look like? A bar mixed with traditional and modern looks, basically. ; What are some quotes the shop keeper would say?
"Konnichiwa, *insert name here*-san! Did you come for a drink or just to relax?"
"Pukie-chan, the Faktori bots, and Cardbot are my best friends~"
"I happen to have a daughter named Hakobe, but she's currently visiting her Ribateau-oji-san at the Faktori...."
"Do you have someone that you can look up to in life? ....Nani? Me? ....Jack-sama...."
"Ummm....N-No....I'm not a cyborg! I really am a true robot!"
"Did you know Jack-sama's favorite drink is Autumn Colors? Fitting, I'd say."
"Sometimes, you've got to wonder....If the hero is supposed to save everyone, who's there to save the hero?"
"I actually have three jobs. This is just one of them."
"Onegai....Be kind to your robot friends!"
"I'm a full-time peacemaker, a part-time nurse, and a part-time bartender. I've got quite a busy schedule, huh?"
"Why, yes. I am Zenese. Very astute of you to notice, *insert name here*-san."
"Please be careful when speaking to Geraku-san. She's rather moody."
"I used to have a boyfriend....But, not anymore...."
"Ribateau-kun is so stubborn! How many times must Geraku-san and I teach him about his wrong-doings?!"
"Did you know that Bildeau-kun's good at fencing? His name says it all!"
"Bildeau-kun can do many things with his six arms...."
; Where in Aekea is your shop? Third floor of the Pit Stop.

What's the name of your shop? - Rewound Sounds. ; What do you sell there? - The shop sells used Cd's, records, and tapes. ; Can you exchange bugs/trash/ink here? - Of course you can! The shopkeeper accepts ink, because she is always wanting to add to her tattoo collection. She hates bugs, though, so try to avoid paying with those. You may get lower grade items. ;Are you the shop keeper? If not, who is? What would they be wearing? - I am. I'm kind of a cheerful, albeit distant sort of shopkeeper. I always wear giant headphones and usually a rainbow sleeved baseball tee with a dull sleeveless hoodie on top. You seldom see me away from the counter (that's where the merch is kept), but when you do, I'm wearing baggy cargo pants. ; What would be in the background of the shop image? - The walls are lined with tons of album, cd, and tape covers. None of them have their music inside, because that would promote stealing! ; What does the shop look like? - It's a little shack of a shop, maybe big enough to hold at most 15 people at one time. The walls are painted a bright red with black notes floating all around the room, and fake records hanging from the ceiling and a broken down jukebox in the corner (when I fix him, he'll be good as new! ...Someday.) The middle of the store has even more musical paraphanelia, including headphones and discmans. ; What are some quotes the shop keeper would say? - "Do I stock who? Probably." - "All the records are in alphabetical order, good luck!" - "Yes, I do accept used music as payment...wait, is it good music?" - "Welcome to rewound sounds! I hope you find the artist you're looking for." ; Where in Aekea is your shop? - Store 14, I believe? It's small and charming. :]

; What's the name of your shop? The Wound Clock
; What do you sell there? Anything in the clockwork services including (but not limited to) repairs, tune-ups, and replacements. Of course I also sell the clocks themselves, from archaic grandfather clocks and sundials to the newest and sleekest clock attachments to your very own body. (Given that your body is at least somewhat robotic, of course.)
; Can you exchange bugs/trash/ink here? Negative.
; Are you the shop keeper? If not, who is? What would they be wearing? I am indeed the shopkeeper. I have different cloths on each day; hygiene is important, no? My general style, however, is of a steampunk taste with a bite marks of my own twists.
; What would be in the background of the shop image? If only I had within my grasp the magical thing called “photoshop”, I would make it. Alas, tis not reality, so I will have to settle with describing. It would be a deep, red-brown solid background colour with three tan-ish, slightly overlapping gears, each different sizes and forms.
; What does the shop look like? It’s a quaint, two story shop. The bottom floor is for business and the top is my apartment. There are bookcases crammed into the downstairs area, but they are filled with clocks instead of novels. The small back room to the left, behind the counter, is where I make and repair clocks. The small back room to the left is a secret room, which only I know the content of. In the building, the floorboards creek a bit and the window panes seem like they need a bit more thorough a cleaning, but overall the shop gives off the warm, subtle glow of welcome and being well loved.
; What are some quotes the shop keeper would say? “Clocks are everywhere – you can find at least one in almost every building. Maybe you could use one, too!” “You’d never be able to tell time without my wares, so feel free to pick out a clock just for you.” “Time is money, and clocks tell time. Does that make clocks money?”
; Where in Aekea is your shop? 14. (Just to let you know, there are two buildings labled 14).

PQ and Retrostacja If you own a shop in Aekea, here is the place to post all about it. Doesn't matter if you sell clothes, robotic parts, books, or own a hair salon of your own! Post about it here. Hmm... How about an office instead of a shop? I'm working on a few ideas as far as services I could offer for a reasonable fee, or possibly an "embassy" for characters whose backstories have them coming from other worlds/dimensions/etc. (As an example, my Gaia character is based on my FF11 character, so I described her as having been brought from Vana'Diel (the world of FF11) to Gaia by a malfunctioning magical gate. If I did this, not only would it give me an excuse to help other newbies as I learn my own way around the system, but it would also provide great roleplaying opportunities!)
