Underworld is a 2003 action-horror film about the secret history of Vampires and a type of werewolf known as Lycans (an abbreviated form of lycanthrope). It is the first film in the Underworld series. The main plot revolves around Selene (Kate Beckinsale), a vampire who has become a "Death Dealer", or Lycan hunter, due to her hatred for the whole species. She finds herself attracted to a human, Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman) who is being targeted by the Lycans. After Michael is bitten by a Lycan, Selene must decide whether to do her "duty" and kill him or go against her clan and save him

Yeah this is the most Sci-fi movie about vampires and Lychantropes... (not counting the un-named shity movie that had a vampire running around in space or some crap like that) totally loved the movie and i sooooo badly wanted to be the guy who gets both Werewolf's and vampires powers Damn Cool .... i have watched both the movies first one and the second one and it never gets old i can watch em over and over again ... everytime i still like it xd

LOVED IT !! I have seen it like 10 times and I still watch it every time it comes on - the whole vampire/lycan thing is uncanny and believable. Victor is awesome with the way he talks - almost like he is drunk or something and to be hitched up with that little vampire honey oh yes I would play the part if it killed me !!

i saw bits and parts of this movie and the second one but i can make out that this movie is amazing. And Cool. (How i love sci-fi heart )

great movie and I heard number two was awesome. It's one of my top three favorite vampire movies. i plan to see number two and i think there might be a third one coming out in 2009. Any one know if there is a third one for sure?

I have watched this and number 2 they are awesome... I love the graphics the fighting and all the sexy characters... lol... definately one of my favorite vamp/werewolf movies!!
