Having spoiled herself on the candy shop, Lulu had little else to do but wander the island of Erasmus seeking out another job to take on in order to make more money. It was a risky job, offering to be a Guardian for those in need, but the pay often justified the work more then enough. The only catch was the time between, the time of trying to find another person who needed her help in order to make ends meet. That was the exact problem she faced now having finally escorted her last client to the island while dealing with less then friendly pirates.
With a soft sigh she continued to shift her way through the slightly crowded market, if their was any luck with her today one of the keepers would be willing to hire her to help escort a trade caravan or something like that, she hated large jobs, she preferred a single client, or maybe a small party, but if push came to shove a caravan would have to do.

Dante was in quite the predicament, and as he walked through the crowded streets his legs danced around anyone who came too close to his general vicinity. Why were there so many people?! Everyone seemed so busy and full of purpose, and he on the other hand was probably in their way somehow. He had no task at hand, and rather, he had really nothing to do. His companion was nowhere to be found, so Dante was useless!
His eyes spotted a small alleyway that hid from the hustle and bustle of the street, and Dante quickly maneuvered his way to the quieter crevice. Once he was away from the multitude of bodies and noise, he felt an instant sigh escape his lips. Finally he was safe and away from everybody and finally he could just rest and watch. His tail curled around his leg ever so carefully, and he dragged his hair off of his back since he was finally cooling down from a nervous sweat.
At SOME point he would have to walk back out and into the street. Well damn. Maybe hiding wasn't as brilliant as he thought? He couldn't imagine leaving the much quieter space, and he paced back and forth suddenly from his ever-so-smart realization.

Still wandering she would stop only now and again to question a vendor if service was needed, though most where happy to tell her no aid was required. Moving on down the market her hopes started to decline as it seemed no one needed her aid.
Head hung she turned off into an ally joined to that of the one Dante now hid inside of, lost in her own thoughts she continued to walk down the ally unaware of Dante in the way till he bumped into him, "Oh s-sorry, I didn't notice you!"

Dante almost fled from the impact- and he shriveled up and hid against the wall as he stared at the figure in front of him. Well.. they didn't look mean. But he did find it funny that she didn't notice him. He probably wouldn't have noticed himself, either.
"S'ok.." he then said, finally, before standing up and straightening himself up. He wiped some dirt off his outfit and cast his scared eyes on the new figure in front of him. Why was there someone else in the alleyway? He thought he was safe- but apparently not!

Standing upright again she dusted her dress gently careful to ensure that none of her powders went off in her pockets or that they were damaged by the brief collision with the Koshak. Once all was safe and in place she would glance again to Dante. The look in his eyes something about it seemed fearful, perhaps she wasn't out of luck yet after all?
"You seem pretty scared for simply being bumped into, are you running from somebody?" she asked casually.

Dante blinked slightly since he knew the female was right in her observation, but her words were off in actual theory. "I'm not running from anybody." he then said, while shifting on his heels. "I'm just escaping the crowd. And looking to see if I can find my friend." He then turned to look at the crowd again, but alas, no Tal was to be found.
".... What are you doing in here?" he then asked, while bringing his attention to the female. She couldn't have been as odd as he, so he was suddenly worried as to why someone else would use an alley. Alleys were usually pretty lifeless and dull, so maybe she had her own reasoning?
...Or maybe he was thinking to hard into the situation. Yeah, that was probably right too.

While his response wasn't what she hoped for it was still something she could work with, nodding she carefully took a seat on a pile of crates watching Dante as he continued to peek out towards the crowd. "Well you certainly escaped the crowd but odds are it's just you and me in this ally and you won't be able to find your friend at all waiting here."
She raised an eyebrow as he returned with questions as to her own motives, a nervous piece of work he was, but he did seem the cautious type. "Well like you I was trying to get away from the crowd, I also happen to be looking for a bit of work." She smiled again slightly, "You would be a perfect example of a job as it is." She held out a hand, "My names Lulu, Guardian for hire, I protect those and help those in need, and judging by the look on your face you could use some help finding this friend of yours."

A.. guardian for hire? Dante had heard of those before, but he'd never met one in person. He kept his hand abruptly behind his his back while she spoke, and lowered his eyes a bit towards her introduction. "No disrespect, I just don't like touching.." once that fact was out and in the open, he tried to perk up, since Lulu seemed much nicer then he originally thought.
"Well, its not really that I need help. I just don't like being on my own. And I probably couldn't protect myself IF something happened." With a quick swoop, he moved his hand away from his back and tried to dig into his pockets for any money that he had. "I do have a bit to spare, but its not much..."
He didn't know how long it would take to find Tal, so he shifted in his heels a bit while staring at the crowd again. "I don't know where my friend is, and I don't want to bore you while searching. I suppose the amount of money I had could cover some of your services?" That would work at least, and he'd feel better about hiring her then!
"Oh and, I'm Dante." he finally said, while lowering himself into a small bow.

Lulu tilted her head curiously as his hand seemed to shy away, she wasn't that intimidating was she? It was all made clear though as Dante explained his dislike of contact. His perking even set her at ease, it was horrible to think it, but Koshka really did remind her of cats and the way her perked amused her all the more.
"No one really likes to be alone, some of us are just more use to it then others." After all she constantly switched 'friends' one minute she had a party, the next she had her self and nothing more.
"Well then Dante, stop digging and start looking." Something about him amused her, tickled her curiosity, "Worry about pay and prices latter, I believe we have a friend of yours to find?"
And with that the two formed a party to search for the missing member.

"I've been alone before, well, until I met my friend." he then admitted solemnly, but before he could get comfortable on that subject he realized that this lady wanted to help him? Well that was surprising! "O-ok yeah.. we do have someone to find." For a moment he felt a great relief, since someone much more mature and brave was going to venture out with him. Plus this was Lulu's procession, so he was way prepared. But once his eyes scattered back on the crowd around him, he realized he was utterly nervous that he might never see Tal again.
"I can keep you company along the way since you deserve that yourself." he then said, with a slight nod. It did occur to him that not everyone was as lucky as he, and Tal was really a great comrade. Many went solo on their travels, and Lulu might have been a good example of that.
"I suppose you should lead the way.. We probably won't go anywhere with me in charge." Such was true, and Dante hadn't moved positions since scrambling away from Lulu in the alleyway...

Standing her hands resting on her hips she could only nod to his story, everyone seemed to be alone at some point or another in this world. Following his gave to the crowd she only smiled more walking over to stand beside her offering a light pat on the shoulder in hopes to encourage him just a bit, but she was quick to pull her hand back, not wanting to upset him with the quick touch.
"Well first off before I lead any one, I need to know what I'm looking for after all," she smiled again, "And thank you, for keeping me company."

"Well my friend is really energetic and has pretty hair and a bright face and smile. Her name is Tal and trust me, she is easy to spot since she is always smiling." Dante would also be there helping on the search, so if he noticed her he would happily shout in relief. He wanted to believe he could find her soon, but sometimes he got too worried! "But I honestly don't even know where to start looking, I have a hard enough time handling the crowds and atmosphere, but that's why I am thankful for your strong hand in help."
And in all truth, just having someone there with him was enough to keep him sane and satisfied. He really sucked at doing anything on his own... Lulu could have probably guessed that by now!
