Storylines completed and what to do

1. Louis

The first thing you are going to want to do is go down the hill and to your right, there is a path that leads to the Woodsman's cottage aka where Woody, Joe, Kurt, and Gwen live. Near there are some weeds. They look like mini green crowns. Pick one by pressing X, press R1 to put it in your rucksack.

Go to your farm and press R1 again to select the weed and place it in the doggie dish.

Now while you are still on your farm, you are going to want to select the hoe, so press R2, find the hoe, then press X.

Go to the tilling land (it will be dark brown) and use the hoe by pressing the square button. Each time you find something other than money, press R1 to put it into your rucksack.

When you find either a Limestone or a Blue Rock, you want to give that to Louis.

Since it will be a day where Louis's tool shop will be closed, you are going to want to find him near the Woodsman's or at the beach which is straight passed the Woodsmans farm.

Note: Louis's tool shop is closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays

When you find Louis, talk with him first. He'll introduce himself. Then you press the R1 and select the Limestone or the Blue Rock and give it to Louis.

To select an item after using R1 or R2 if it is a tool you want, then press x.

Press X to give items. Stand too far from the person and you will throw it someplace. Don't stand too far or you will basically be litering. (Of course you can laugh if you do that though. Lord knows how many tomatoes I threw before. Lol)

This action by giving an item is referred to as Gifting.

You are going to want to keep gifting Louis for a couple of days. Keep going to the beach, like make it a routine.

1. feed doggie
2. Find gifting item
3. Gift Louis
4. Go to beach

Louis will give you a flute.

The gift Louis daily until that Saturday in the evening. As long as its sunny that is, he will be there for the next part in this story. He will be playing his flute solo and you get to hear it. Nothing like a private concert, right?

After the scene gift Louis until the following sunny Saturday evening. If you cannot give ores, then at least talk with Louis. He likes corn, but it is better to give him ores for now.

That sunny Saturday the second trip to the beach for a scene, will be of you and him feeding the birds.

Gift Louis some more until another Sunny Saturday evening. This will be a third scene where Lyla is already watching a private solo flute concert. You join her in listening.

Gift Louis some more, then he will just show up at your farm within a couple of days. He will give you a flute test.

Remember timing is the key thing here, and if you do not know your directions, you will have trouble with it.

Green is up, Blue is down, Red is right, Pink is left. The colored notes are what has to be pressed and when. Try to be as accurate as possible. When you have gotten pretty much all the notes, then the Bluebird shows up.

The next day, go to the lake which is up the hill from the beach, give the harvest goddess some crap from the road, then wait a few days.

Go to the beach to see the final scene after a few days. Then this story is done!

Oh, and to get the doggie, which will be your side quest, along with attempting to get the kitchen and the doggie house, just try to pick the doggie up by chasing it. When you are able to catch him, then he's yours.
