The journal is old, but still usable. A few pages are torn out and just slipped inside, with newer papers poking out of the sides and such.
Upon opening the cover, a list of contents can be seen, hastily written with many cross outs and changes littering the page. It reads something like this...

By turning to the second page, a log is reached. This log has pages after pages following it, covering over a third of the book for safety. All are blank. A log of interactions, perhaps. It's uncertain how this works as of yet, as there are no entries to be found.
A format, however, can be found at the top of the pages.

History: At one time, the Chauncy family, or at least Darcey’s side of it, were wealthy aristocrats. Then the war came and somehow, and the Chauncy’s aren’t sure how, they fell from, that seat of grace to the lives of peasants. That was back in Darcey’s grandparents’ time. The trio, Mary, Edsure, and Darcey are all used to the way of peasant life. They run a bar in Xorosho, where Darcey barmaids.
Personality: She’s quiet and will get any and all jobs she is given done. She’d extremely nice if you stay on her good side. Darcey is easily annoyed and has been known to hold grudges for years if given enough quarter to do so.
Daredevil or cautious: Neither
Do they act the same alone as when with someone?: Same
Drinks: Dark rum, whiskey, and vodka
Greatest Strength: Her ability to get even good men drunk to their bones
Greatest Weakness: She’s easily annoyed and holds grudges

History: It hasn’t been that long since Cassie left her home to go off into the world. She is of a mixed Mench-Koshka family, but the Koshka is very recessive and not present really at all. The only real Koshka trait she active carries is the fine blond layer of fur all over her body. It’s so fine it can barely be seen, but it is there. Her father’s good business standing was the only thing that got her into Xorosho. For the most part, she stays within the Chauncy family bar, preferring to do their bookkeeping for them. Twice a week she works in the local library as a librarian. Cassie isn’t as afraid of heights as other Mench, but she won’t go near the edges of the flying city. There’s just something about the idea that there is air around them that freaks her out.
For the most part, Cassie doesn’t remember her parents, or at least, doesn’t want to remember them. Her father, while being good for getting her into the city, was a rather cold man, whose numerous mistresses always ended up screwing up Cassie’s family. Her mother, a full blood Mench, commited suicide after mistress number five came home. Cassie doesn’t know how many siblings she has, nor does she care. By going to Xorosho, and making friends with Darcey and her family, Cassie was able to turn over a new leaf in her life. One that didn’t include the Wetherby family.
She as a young adoptive son, Marcus, who runs about in the bar taking order. Marcus, unlike his foster mother, is full blooded Koshka. He helps his mother’s relations with the rest of Xorosho.
Personality: Cassie can be very sarcastic. She doesn’t care if she badmouths someone, nor if she gets hurt because of it. She’s steeled herself for stuff like this since she was a little girl. On the whole, however, Cassie has a good sense of humour and a nice personality. She doesn’t hold grudges; she skips the grudges and goes right for the fighting back. She’s serious when she works on the bookwork or reading, and occasionally in conversation.
Daredevil or cautious: Daredevil
Do they act the same alone as when with someone?: Cassie tends to talk to herself when she’s alone, talking out plans and ideas so she can hear what they sound like. She never does this when there is someone in the room or close by.
Drinks: Irish Coffee
Greatest Strength: Her wit.
Greatest Weakness: The fact that her Mench blood runs strong in her veins. Its gotten her almost kicked off the flying city more than once.
Soft spot: A good book, and green tea.
How they feel about themselves: Cassie isn’t exactly happy she’s a mix of Mench and Koshka. Frankly, she wants the Koshka side to come out more, but knows its impossible. But she deals with it.
If granted one wish what would it be, why?: Be fullblooded Koshka, or at least have more of the Koshka genes come out.
