Story/Background:
In this world, as far back as anyone can remember, there have always been individuals with powers beyond that of normal humans that have wanted to take control of, or simply destroy the world. They have become known as mere criminals, vandals, and the more infamous, Super Villains. At the same time there have been other individuals with the same powers that have arisen to stop them. We have dubbed these individuals vigilantes, heroes, and again, the more famous, Super Heroes.
The villain's one main flaw has always been that they are only able to attack one city at a time, and with each city gaining more and more heroes the job of taking over the world is getting harder and harder. As mankind progressed into the 21st century Superheroes have divided up, each taking a specific area to protect. In the United States, each territory is based off of large cities and states. Places like North Dakota have one Superhero team for the whole state, whereas states like New York have a team in almost every major city. Each team stays within their district, never having a reason to venture out. With so many Supers running about the Super Villain has become a dying group, leaving only the small time criminals and vandals for the Heroes to worry about.
However all of that is about to change.
Everything had been running smoothly, nothing out of the ordinary when suddenly every superhero team in North America received an urgent e-mail, this warning inside: "It's about to get very cold, very fast. If you don't want to be a popcicle take action now.
signed, Wiretap"
Unfortunately none took this warning. Five minutes later it was sent again.
Ten seconds later the entirety of Norther America was completely frozen solid. No one had heeded the warning.
Welcome to Freedom City, California. Not the biggest of cities, but not the smallest either. It has had it's share of Super Villain problems in the past, but with the establishment of LifeSavers Inc. and the lesser known, still emerging superhero team, The Redeemed, it has become a much safer and quieter place. Until recently. Every hero in Freedom city mysterious disappeared a month ago.
Since the freezing occurred, a week ago, a signal has gone out to any heroes that may have been able to save themselves from becoming living icicles. A base has been set up in Freedom City in an attempt to understand what is going on, how to stop it, and how to keep it from happening to the rest of the world.
It's only a matter of time until the rest of the world falls.
Will you let this happen?

Rules/Guidelines:
1. Be intelligent. Please use proper grammar, spell check, and completely sentences. Posts need to be at least a full paragraph long (at least 5 sentences). No **,--, etc for actions, do use "" for speech, etc.
2. No quoting. Ever.
3. No chatspeak.
4. No god-moding
5. No autohitting.
6. I have divine right in this roleplay. You must listen to me. As well as the guild mods, 'cause they are just that awesome.
7. Pm all your profiles to me.
8. Highlight to find the secret rule
Title the previously mentioned PM that of your super hero/villain name.
9. Romance is certainly allowed assuming the party you wish to start the relationship with is agreeable.. Keep it PG-13 or there abouts. Anything too graphic had better be taken to PMs, or better yet off Gaia all together. And this romance should not eclipse the whole of the plot.
10. Swearing is alright as long as it's appropriate. This means every other word should not be a swear word.
11. The same thing as rules 10 applies to violence. Obviously there will be some fighting as I want a nice mix of heroes and villains, and someone has to win, someone has to lose. If you can't solve it I will.
12. If you wish to kill off a character you must approve it with whoever is in control of said character and me.
13. Any questions just PM me.
14. Any Ooc needs to be kept to a minimum and in a generally accepted form, ie (()), [[]], Ooc:, etc.
15. You may have more than one character as long as you can keep up with them all.
16. Until your profile has been accepted and you see it added to the character list you may not post. Any posting done before your acceptance will be ignored and you will be instantly banned from the roleplay for obviously not having read all the rules.
17. Any new rules will appear in red.
Guidelines:
1. Not everyone can be a hero, not everyone can be a villain. I want a good mix.
2. No one is all powerful. You have to have some kind of weakness. If you can't think of something I will.
3. I don't know who is going to win in the end. It's all up to you! It could be heroes, could be villains.
4. Our main villian has been cast! If you want to help them out just send them a PM with your ideas.
5. Your alignment isn't set in stone. I want to see your characters develop as the story progresses. You can start out as hero and if situations arise that contribute to you becoming a villain than so be it! Or vice versa. I don't want people to feel limited!
6. I have the ability to add more guidelines as situations arise. New guidelines will appear in red.

Powers: Her main power is her ability to turn her entire body into being made up completely of electrical wires. She can stretch her body up to 50 feet and shoot blasts of electricity at her enemies. Small abilities she is able to communicate with machines and she is super-intelligent.
Weaknesses: She's really smart, but, stereotypically, isn't very strong at all. She's pretty good at dodging attacks, because when she does get hit she gets hit hard and it doesn't take much to knock her out. She's not much of a people person and can't always tell if someone is on her side or against her.
Weapons: She has two guns. One that can shoot some sort of "hellfire" and another that can turn organic matter into crystal. She will only use them as a last resort.
Origin: When she was a child she was used as part of an experiment of NeoNazi group in Germany. They had been working on a way to tear a whole into hell and access the armies of the abyss. They had succeeded. However they had no idea what traveling into hell would do to a normal person and had no idea how they would get out again, if at all. So they began kidnapping children and sending them through instead. Jaqueline was one of those children as far as she knows. She would have been lost if not for a demon who was on a search for redemption. He rescued her and she reappeared in Freedom City. She had been changed on her journey to Hell, now gifted with strange powers and abilities. She grew up under the watchful eye of the demon and the two, along with a one other, another child the demon rescued, eventually became officially known as the Redeemed, unofficially they are known as The Creep Squad, not your typical hero group. They have been fighting to stop Bloodsucker since her first appearance. During the beginning and up until the freezing of North America her father was turned against her and her 'sister' and she as forced to use her crystal gun to freeze him. Then her sister was being turned against her as well and instead of being evil Wiretap watched as her sister shot herself. She has become much more jaded and is close to tipping over the edge into revenge as opposed to justice.

Appearance: Normal Appearance Once she transforms, her face starts to change twisting and morphing into wires and then it spreads to the rest of her body, her clothing transforming as well. Her eyes remain as they are, her hair changing into extremely thin wires. No one, besides the rest of the Redeemed has seen her when she's not in her wire form.

A couple years later he returned to the tomb of his birth and there he was turned to ston a statue over looking the tomb after the big freeze he awoke with powers and modified forms of the knights old armour. He knows little to nothing about the modren day. he went to the place called freedom city were he is learning to become a hero. She is extremely beautiful meaning it is hard to attack without feeling bad and is very fast. Weaknesses: She isn't very strong if she hasn't drunken blood in a while (its hard to get good blood since people always are watching for her) and her temper and hunger usually get the better of her (stupid technicians ...) Origin: Rosalie used to have a good life... who knows how many years ago. She was found perfectly preserved in ice up in the Arctic. Some scientists found her in her frightening stance, standing next to a bear both about to kill each other. The strange scientists were reminded of a vampire. After years of testing they were able to change her into a vampire. She has no memory of her old life. She did what they made her to do. She drank blood and stayed alive. She always had heroes and cops attacking her telling her that she should be in bars. She couldn't help it otherwise she would die. She never did eat more than she needed and was confused that now she was bad. She then hated them and for revenge killed them. She was forced into hiding and only feeding at night. A strange side effect was that she can never age. She is planning to take down every hero there is as she knows that she is a freak and can never live the peaceful life she wanted. If they gave her keys she would only eat people in jail. But now she has turned and despises all heroes. Wiretap Forgive me, Father.
Forgive me, SIster.
I will not fail again.  Silence. Cold. Not even a hint of a wind disturbed the unnatural calm that had permeated Freedom City. Snow fell from the clear blue sky landing on buildings already covered in a thick coat of ice. In the middle of the day, on a week day no less, one would expect to see the business district full of the working class, going to their lunch break, coming back from that lunch break, and many more looking out from the tall, glass office buildings. Children should be playing about on the many playgrounds, parents shopping for groceries, and anything in between. Not now. Not for the past week. The city was completely empty.
Except for one, lone figure that stood in the direct center of the city. Crystal blue eyes stared at the frozen skeleton that had once been her home, the swirls of her breath the only sign of movement from the young woman for an undetermined amount of time. Finally she heaved a great sigh and all but fell onto her knees. How could this have happened? How could they have allowed this to happen? Why had no one listened? Not a soul could be found in Freedom City. No regular people, no one from her own team, nothing.
Her internal sense of time told her she had been gone for a week. The iced over newspaper stand were frozen on a date six days ago. It only took 24 hours to freeze one of the greatest countries in the world. That just couldn't be possible. No! Jaqueline Bell clenched her fists together tightly before pushing herself to her feet. She wouldn't let things end here. She had already sent out a signal to anyone that might have survived. That possibly listened. She would wait a few more days.
As she pushed herself to her feet she began to change. It started with her face. Had anyone been there to watch they would have found the scene rather disconcerting, if not downright creepy. Her face began to piece apart, separating into individual wires, before the change spread to her entire body, her clothing changing with it. It only took a few seconds and there stood Wiretap, one of Freedom Cities aspiring Heroes. Sparks of electricity shot out, scorching the ice around her.
Without a sound the young hero turned and began making her way towards the abandoned church on the outskirts of town. There was nothing else she could do here. All that was left was to get that help and to make sure that this didn't happen to the rest of the world. That it didn't happen to anyone else. She just prayed it wasn't too late.

I will not fail again. She was only twenty minutes from the edge of town, from her church, less than half an hour, but she just had to stop, to rest. Even in her alternate form she could still feel the chill in the air, the freezing temperature that had no hope of being warmed up. If wires could shiver she would be worse than a leaf in a hurricane. She had never done well in the cold. It wasn't as though she had been running, or even walking at a brisk pace, but she felt as though she was out of beathe after a long run. The air seemed to freeze even as she breathed in.
Finally stopping she sat gingerly on a frozen park bench. She remember coming here barely a month ago. There were children everywhere drowning out the sounds of nature she'd hoped to hear, there was no calm to be found at that time. Then she just wished those people would be gone, at least for a few minutes so she could just enjoy being outside, enjoy the quite without locking herself in her room, now, though, all she wanted was to hear the annoying screams of those children as they played their games and their parents attempts to round them up. She couldn't take the quiet, the calm.
Only a few more minutes of rest, then she would get up and continue on. Wired arms wrapped around herself in a feeble attempt to block out the cold, so long as she didn't freeze first.

Rosalie sat atop her high, ebony throne and watched the countless screens showing where every superhero was stationed. Her eyebrows furrowed as there was nothing but frozen cities.
"What happened?" She muttered pulling her knees up to hug them.
She reached over the metal roses that were embedded to her throne to pick up a strange remote. She pressed a silver button and all the screens changed to show the hideout placed in Forks, Washington.
"What's going on there?" She hissed at the screen waiting for one of her comrades to reply.
Being the top of the villains sure had its perks. Her little hideout was one of them. It was only accessible by her and her most trusted partners in crime. It was mainly a little home for her with her throne, communication and a private almost hotel like suite. She was also able to run around and feed anytime she needed too. It was nice being respected.
Though she missed the sun and socializing with all the humans. Now she had no idea what was happening in the world. It kinda sucked.
"Well, uh Bloodsucker... it seems that the entire U.S. has been frozen," mumbled one of the people on the screen.
Rosalie's laugh rang out like small silver bells. "Finally, those stupid heroes got what was coming to them! Thank you sweetie!"
She blew the villain a kiss in her good mood and shut the screens down.
She stopped laughing for a minute to ponder, "who was that guy anyway?"
She sighed and glided off of her throne. She locked herself in her room hoping none of the higher up villains had decided to pay her a visit. She threw herself on the bed and took out a thick, yellowed book and opened it to a marked page. It was about vampires that most dropped because it was too fictional. For Rosalie it was her entire life.

zinc was standing on the top of the tallest building over loking the city he hadf been here for about a week and hadn't done much but recon. He was tryng to figure out as much as he could about the current time. Alot had changed since he was turned to stone and many thing had happened in tt time. He spent the first day in the library learning as much as he could about modren warfare and equipment. But the most interesting thing he came across was super heroes and super villians which since he now had powers decided to become a super hero. The only thing he needed was someoe to tell him things about the modren world. But where to find one? he sighed and reajusted his halberg the oly way for him to find another hero is to become known he jumped off the building andded on the ground which he started walking
