Another boring day...
Kasaihime's eyes narrowed as she watches her family play games. She was sitting a little ways away from them and already she was annoyed. Her eyes sparkled in hate as she turned around and stood up ready to leave.
"Where are you going, dear?"
"Out." Was Kasaihime's short tempered reply to her mother. She walked away from her mother's worried glance without caring. Her family was a nuisance! It annoyed her so much she wanted to die, but yet... Death wasn't an option. There had to be a purpose why she was alive.
Kasaihime spat on the ground and walked farther and farther away slowly stopping she looked behind her and growled as she saw a bush rustling. "Don't even think about following me!" She screamed as her mother's head poked up. Whipping around she ran onward not caring where she'd end up. As long as she was away from her mother all was good.

Saphiredust padded contentedly along a creek, letting his paws dragg through the shallows, cool water flowing over them. He closed his eys, felling a light breeze under the tree shade from the intense sun. On the other side of the creek, there was a field of grass and flowers, bushes and sunlight. His eyes were half closed as he stopped, and sat on his side of the creek, and watched the field intently.
Saphiredust would do that...just watcxh...observe. He didnt have any friends, and didnt completly understand what friends were. No other ulaya usualy came near him, they were normally busy with their families or their own friends. He pondered this subject as he lciked some mud off his forepaw.
Unlike most Moto'undil, Saphiredust had a lithe agile form. He may not be as large as his Moto'undil, and weigh less, but he was still larger than a normal Ulaya. His purple eyes surveyed the peaceful feild, his mind lost in thought, and he absently lay down, flicking his tail in wonder.

Kasaihime charged angrily through her path without looking where she was headed. The only thing that gave signs to where she was heading was the sounds. She herd the sounds of a soft flowing lake and didn't give a second thought as she turned and headed towards the noise. Her pelt bristled at the thought of water, but she ignored it and went on.
Her head was down and she ran forward not aware of the path before her. She went forward and....
BAM!
She went head first against another Ulaya that was laying by the creek. Kasaihime shook her head and looked at the Ulaya. He looked her age, but was practically twice her size! She looked down at her paws and shifted them slowly. "Sorry." She muttered. "I wasn't watching where I was headed so I ran into you." Her face was shadowed as she muttered her apology. She hated apologizing to people, let alone strangers.

((...I nees a size chart! DX))
Saphiredust let out sound of surprise before he sat back on his haunches, a Ulaya his age sitting before him. It was then that he realized how big Moto'undil were com pared to other Ulaya. He sat there for a moment, blinked, then rose to his paws, he stepped back, liftd one baw, and bowed his head in a greeting. He then layed down again and gazed at Kasaihime's face, studying her fur patterns closly, and storing her into his memory.
"That alright. It was an accident aftr all," He said, his ears perking in accptanc of her apology. He cocked his head a little, then spoke in a polite but good natured manner. "I am Saphirdust."

Kasaihime silently sighed to herself knowing that this Saphiredust had dragged her along into a conversation. "I'm Kasaihime." She replied. Her name fit her... Or so she thought. Except the "Hime" part. She despised that part.
Kasaihime hated being called a princess and that's exactly what "Hime" meant. Her whole name was Fire Princess. What a horrible name for someone like her.
Kasaihime sat down slowly and wondered if he would kick this conversation up a notch or just end it. Part of her wanted desperately to talk to someone yet... The other half wanted to be left alone.

"Thats a beautiful name," He said, smiling lightly and looking up at the sky. "Could I call you Kasai for short? And if you do not mind my asking, what brings you here?" He said, turning his head back to look at her. He had a tendancy for giving compliments too, even if he didnt realize he was. Thats just how he was...

Kasaihime simply nodded in response to his compliment and his question. "I just don't want to be near my family right now." She replied remembering the incident that had happened earlier. Why couldn't they just get the memo and leave her alone? She sighed and looked over at the creek watching it flow on and on. Almost endlessly.

Saphiredust smiled ruefully. "I'm sorry that I can provide no consolatation...I have no family," He said, shrugging slightly, dipping a forepaw into the flowing water, he gazed at the dappled shadows and lights dancing upon the water's surface.

You're lucky." Kasaihime sighed looking up. She'd fair much better without them nagging her on and on and on. It got annoying. Her eyes clouded with judgment and she shook her head to get rid of it. With a whacked out family like hers... Who could blame you for disliking them?

Saphiredust blinked and cocked his head. Lucky? How was he lucky? Families are important, they support one another. Loners like him dont have others to be with, or protection at night, nothing. "How am I lucky?" He asked.
