The land of Ice and snow.

Senri-Naa as it is called by the native peoples is a collection of glaciers and icebergs that float in the sea of ice to the north. This is a tundra land of pure sparkling snow. The seasons pass as they would anywhere else, but snow never leaves this barren land. The glaciers are the size of most, small to mid sized continents and most are immobile. There are however two minor glaciers which to float along the costs of the larger glacial continents.

The largest glacial continent is called “Chuchni-rye” or "Land of the Ice Bears" in the tongue spoken by the inhabitants of the Ice flows. The second largest continent, situated in the east is called, “Unga-ro”, or simply "Land of the Ice walkers", where most Tokri, make their summer villages. The Northern Glacial continent, which reaches as far north as the poles, is called “Shintara.” This simply means “Forbidden.” This Glacial continent is covered in deep snow which hides plates of jagged ice and the ice is, for the most part, black. The Tokri don’t venture to this continent often, as it is fabled to be inhabited by creatures and nightmares beyond the wildest stretches of time. The smaller glaciers which float along the coast are called “Tuni” and “Hurhd”. Which mean, big and small.

The “Tokri” are race of Nomadic peoples with superior knowledge of all ice and snow. The posses primitive technology and a superior and co-operative living with the wild life. The Tokri for the most part are a people who find the art of tattooing, known to them as “Shekra” to be the art of releasing your soul, when a child is born they receive their first Shekra, once they reach the age of eighteen, a Tokri must find his spirit mate. This is the animal which every Tokri must have Shekra on his or her back. The process is all but painless, as the Tokri use oils found in the ice fish to numb the skin.

The Language spoken by the ice peoples is quite complex and takes a lifetime to perfect, few beyond the reaches of the snow know its rhythm. The Tokri visit south in the winter when the flows are the thickest to trade goods with Vvraeden. Only a small party ventures to market. Magic although an essential part of society is little known, and those who have the power are revered as “Unpala” which means Shaman. The Tokri use song, to cast their spells and magic’s.
