What can I do about it? I am 18 years now and I'm still getting ticks. I used to see this doctor when I was 10-13 every half a year, and he'd explain the tourettes syndrome to me and tell me that I shouldn't worry, it should go away when I get older.
So far it hasn't, and I'm thinking about getting in contact with some doctor again and see what I can do about it. My ticks are really irritating, especially cause one of my dominating ticks is to bend neck back really fast, which sometimes causes headache.
Anyone out here have tourette syndrome? What do you do to keep yourself calm? What can I do? You got any useful info I could use?
Please, and thanks!

I don't have tourettes, but I highly recommend you get a second or even third opinion. It's obvious that you're not growing out of it. I didn't even know that was possible, though I once heard of an older man who had it so bad that he required a chip implant to control the excessive electrical impulses. You should definitely consider seeing another doctor, especially if your ticks risk causing you injury.

it doesnt always go away though it can, i don't have tourettes i have tardive dyskenisia(sp) but i get uncontrolled motor movements and other ticks like that and it can be really upsetting. i would get another opinion and see what can be done about it.
