I think that for each join request, the user should fill out a short form asking why they want to be in the ELE. Those fancy forms from DA should be for council membership or something else. Or I don't know, just for fun.

But I do think we should have a sort of form for membership requests.

Wow.... well done. Is the official application? I've got a friend who wants to do this. I'd do it, too, but I'm just not that clever. Best I could come up with was "The Stapler".
