Fergus had decided to stop off in Tama's ice cream parlor, he was on his way home from a day shopping with Kim but Kim had to go, saying he would take the bags with him and so their ice cream date would have to wait for later, not that Fergus minded, he had taken out his cellphone and looked over the menu, once he had figured out what he wanted he called Tama over to him. "Can I please place my order?" He asked the wolf who had been called in to work today, regardless of it behind his day off or not, when your part owner of the place it was common, Fergus guessed, to be called in whenever.
Tama smiled at Fergus and nodded "sure, what would you like?" He asked the unicorn.
"Hmmm I will have a large strawberry thickshake and a large banana split with everything on it and a large hot chocolate" he said smilin up at the wolf.
"Alright then, I will get this to you ASAP" he said as he turned away "oh, and its on the house, the perks of being friends with a co-owner" he said as he looked back and winked at the unicorn as he walked away before the unicorn could object.
Fergus sighed, wanting to object but decided agianst it, he was more then happy to pay for his order but if the wolf didnt want him to then he guessed he could have a free order just this once, though, as the brother of an estate co-head, he wished he was a tad more hard on payments and what not like his brother. Oh well, what could he do? He couldnt change how Tama was and his mate loved him for it so he just had to go along with it and accept the free meal, he opened up his phone and texted his brother while he waited.

Ignatius had heard his son mention something about ice cream. That was about the extent of his reasoning for coming by an ice cream parlor. Of course even finding Keahi without knowing the name or location was almost nil, but he had stopped in anyway. It was there...
Now he found himself trying to decide on something to eat. You don't just walk into a shop, sit down, and buy nothing. So... milkshake? Ice cream? Smoothie? What else... He frowned slightly and looked up at the waiter. "Have any recommendations, or a special?" he asked, smiling with a hint of sheepishness. If nothing else, he could order some ice cream with toppings chosen at random...
Finally, he decided on a malted shake. One could not go wrong with that...
Sitting back in his seat as he waited, he looked around the place to take in the decor. Usually these places had their own style that was unique and quaint. He saw another customer then, a unicorn, and smiled. He seemed to be texting someone so the firecat left him alone.

Fegus stopped texting, closing his phone and two seconds later it rang, he picked it up and answered it "hello?" He asked pulling the phone away from his ear, sure the whole shop would be able to hear him "alright, alright, calm down Kim" he said as he put the phone back to his ear, shesh, this demon could be annoying when he wanted to be. However, Fergus loved him regardless "I said that your jacket was getting dry cleaned, I borrowed it when I went out a couple of nights ago, you wernt at home, you were with your mate, im sorry, I know its your favorite and it will be put back in your closet by tommorow afternoon, they said it would just take a few days.
Kim...Kim!...KIMARIS!" He shouted as he ducked down in his seat, noticing almost the entier shop looking at him, he blushed and quickly got up from the table and moved outside, leaving the quaint rock and roll themed ice cream parlor, maybe it was best to speak to his brother out here. Something was wrong with Kim, this just wasnt usual behaviour for him even if it was just a missing jacket, something more was wrong, he quitened down the demon...finally and sighed. "Alright, now, whats wrong, something else seems to be wrong then just a missing jacket, care to tell me what that is?" Having Kim say nothing but 'I will tell you when you get home' they both said their goodbyes and hung up. Fergus made his way back into the shop and sat back down, waiting for his order avoiding whatever eye contact he could with whoever may now find him a threat to their peace and quite while having a nice half hour or or whatever with their family or friends.
"Is everything alright?" Tama asked as he brought over the unicorns food "whats wrong with Kim?" He asked, knowing that those two stuck close by each other far more then wat he and Ly did and he and Ly wererather close.
"It is nothing" he said with a sigh as he smiled up at the wolf "my brother was first moaning about a jacket im picking up from the dry clearners tommorow and then went agro over somthing else, there as something more wrong with him but he never said what and that he would tell me when I got home, I guess I wll be waiting" he said smiling up at Tamaska. "Anyway, thank you for this" he said as he took a sip of his hot chocolate and watched the wolf nod and walk away, curious now what he was thinking about, he knew it must have been Kim, he was close to him, he just knew that noone would get anything out of the demon except for him these days.

Ignatius angled his head curiously at the commotion. Well whomever it was, was upset... enough to make the unicorn go outside to finish the conversation. A faint smile graced the firecat's features. That name... he wondered just how many people have the name 'Kimaris'. Small world if it was one and the same.
The firecat finished the tall glass with the inevitable slurp. And being who he was, he had to lift the straw out of the glass and play with it as he poured the rest inside. That was one thing about these themed parlors... you order a shake and get the equivalent to two or three. Pressing his straw into the slurry mess, he shivered a little, mismatched wings flaring and back and tail fluffing up for a moment.
Hmm... maybe he'd go for a hamburger too.

Fergus sighed as he took another sip of his hot chocolate before placing the cup down and picked up the spoon and started eating his sundae, lost in thought, wondering what Kim was wanting to tell him, he wondered if he should go home now, just forget about the food or ask Tama to save it for him or whatever and yet, he didnt REALLY feel like arguing with his brother right now so he decided to just stay where he was an absent mindedly eat and drink what he got.

After placing his order for a hamburger, Ignatius found himself wandering back over to the unicorn. His mood had just become so gloomy. "Hey, why so glum? Don't you know there's an unwritten rule that states you can't be in a bad mood in a place like this," he said, glancing around the room with a grin. The stools were shiny, from the vinyl to the chrome. The light from the jukebox was bright and cheery, as was the music coming from the old machine. He looked back at Fergus. "It's against the laws of nature."

Fergus shook his head to clear it and looked up at the other "oh, sorry, please, if you wish, join me?" He offered the other seat across from him to the cat, not one to usually just offer a seat at his table to some stranger but if the cat wanted to speak to him and maybe get his mind off his brother then who was he to complain? "My brother, Kimaris, is just in a bad mood, nothing I cant handle when I get home" he said smiling at the other "anyway, im Fergus, may I please get your name?" He asked the other politely.

A broad grin spread across the alpha's face at the unexpected invitation. He gladly accepted the offer and sat down, hooking the toes of one foot over the rungs between the stool's legs. "Ah, siblings..." Who knew if he had any of his own? Regardless, he certainly seemed to understand. "My name is Ignatius," he said while offering his paw. "It's a pleasure to meet you Fergus." He was still smiling. If it was the same Kimaris in question, then Fergus would recognize the firecat's name right away.

Fergus took the cats paw and shook it "hi, its a pleasue to meet you, finally, thank you for what you did for my brother, it means alot" he said as he took his hand back and took a sip of his shake, not entierly sure what to say next, this WAS a pack leader after all, what does one say to a pack lëader? Especially one who had done what he did for his brother, there was more he should say, if not gve him for all the help he had done and yet, he couldnt even think of something more to say then just thanks, he was totally lame.

Ignatius grinned, and when it was returned to him curled his paw under him as he leaned on his elbows. "Don't mention it. I was more than happy to help..." He almost asked how Kim was doing, but he was the object of the unicorn's upset at the moment, so he steered away from that for now. "Tell me about yourself, if you don't mind... Kim seems to have such a large family who all know about me, but I know so little about them. You're his brother?"
He was so glad to see yet another person whom the demon could call family. He had met some previously, and admittedly he had been in a bad way at the time. He was just glad they did not think low of him for that, nor for his absence...

"No, I dont mind" Fergus started in his thick irish accent "im his biological family" he said with a sigh, wondering where exactly to go to now but he decided to carry on from where he had just finished, it would be best "I am his half brother to be more exact, when his father left his mother and him he meet up with a female irish unicorn anthro and had me with her, anyway, my parents, were in an accident. My mother was killed in a car accident on St Pats day a couple of years back by a drunk driver and my father, after that, he just shut down and left, been on my own ever since, I dont know what happened with my father, he, to us anyway, wasnt a bad man, I do belive he loved my mother, but losing her was to much, he didnt really care for me I guess and just left.
I have thought about it at times, wether or not he left Kim and his mother as part of the fact he just wasnt happy being around children, given he DID own an orphange once upon a time, but then, he was working there for several years before what happened, happened, so I dont really know why he left but then again, at times, I dont really want to know either. Anyway, as I said, I have been on my own ever since and that was probably about five or six years ago" he said thinking of how old he was when that happened to now and nodded "yes, it would of been about five or six years ago, im tweny one now" he said to him, taking another sip of his hot chocolate.
"Did some research into Kim's family history, found out his family had an orphange and decided to see if I could find him, the rest, as they say, is history" he said putting the mug down and taking another bite of his sundae.

Oh my, family history. Ignatius made himself more comfortable. The waiter that had taken his order saw that he had moved and placed the firecat's hamburger down in front of him. He had a difficult time deciding whether to eat it now, or to wait until the unicorn had finished. He decided to wait; if nothing else, he could heat it up himself later...
"Ah, what a sad story..." Perhaps the words were a bit lame, but the sincerity was there. The good news was that Kim had made so much progress since then. He could only hope that Fergus had too. He seemed all right anyway, on first impression. "You seem to have turned out all right for all of that," he remarked, "and you were able to finally find your brother. Perhaps you'll find your father as well and you can ask him about his intentions. Sometimes it's best to know the truth, no matter what it is..."
That of course depended on several things. Was his father willing and even able to tell him? Was Fergus willing to know the truth? The unicorn may find the questions to his answers would be far from what he wanted to hear, and he seemed to understand that all too well. It was hard to say however if he was ready...

"It doesnt matter now, even if I DID find my father, given what he did to Kim and his mother, I dont want to upset Kim, regardless at how far he has come, he and I are very close, I know he would be upset if I told him I was going to go meet our father, he would want me to go, he would understand and yet he would be terribly upset by it. I dont wish to be the one to upset him, I dont want to keep secrets from him either, so it is better to just leave the past where it is, I would like to know answers but not if it meant at the risk of upsetting Kim, not when hes still haunted by his past on an almost daily basis" he said before taking a few sipts of his shake.

(( I think I need to re-read old RPs with Iggy and Kimaris... this is so fuzzy to me... xD; ))
Ignatius nodded slowly as he considered these things. Fergus was in such a difficult position. Hopefully... hopefully, time would heal what wounds needed healing. It does not always do the trick however, and no matter how much time has passed, some wounds will never heal. How to say any of that without sounding preachy? There probably was a way, but Fergus seemed to already have such a great grasp on everything even for someone so young. It was a difficult and complicated situation... like a good many things in life.
Did he have a right to give his opinion on this matter? Fergus had to make his own decision. If the unicorn was not going to find out, he just had to accept that. It was a shame - he should try to find out - but Kimaris was a big (and very good, valid) reason not to. Whatever Fergus decided... there would be an unfortunate consequence.
The firecat ran fingers through his hair. It was as if this gesture allowed him to switch topics in his mind, for when he did it, he looked down at his hamburger, suddenly hungry. Yummy...

((LOL well in a nut shell...
Kim and his parents owned the orphange, Kims father left when he was young, his father took almost everything but the orphange, they argued a bit, he just left one day, his mother went mad one day, stabing herself 13 times, last one to finally finish her off and he was left alone to fend for himself till Kim was found one christmas by Ly and the rest is history...well untill he got raped by the coon that sexually abused him when he was little but still....))
"Anyway, enough about me, what about you? Surely there is some deep dark secrets in a pack leaders life" he said teasing him, more or less just wanting to change the subject from him mostly but still, learning a little more about the leader culd be interesting to.
