hmmmm.... should I answer this one?
its not so much that it is easy for the reason why i LOVE my guild, and it actually took a little bit of time for it even to catch on. You have to put a lot of personal time into the guild, and even more of your own financial assets. You get the rewarding parts, like having fin, having people to talk to, and making everyone do your bidding because you can ban them in a hot second, but you also get the downfalls, like people not reading treads and fn everything up, people making you angry because they are annoying, getting random PMs about stupid stuff, disputes on the guild, and the fact that people dont think you are GIVING enough of YOUR OWN STUFF away to them for free, not realizing the time and effort you have put into your guild for them to just so easily shoot you down.
But i digress. Having a guild is a wonderful experience, but you might have to be ready for a failure. on the other hand, it maybe become your favourite place to hang out online, and you become the most loved captain in the world. But it really depends on who you are, and what you are willing to deal with to get your guild to that point.

I'm going to supplement what Kijo said with my own experiences from running another guild... into the ground. :'D (KIDDING)
Basically, a lot of responsibility falls on the owners. Publicity, maintenance, staffing, populating, etc. On the surface, it sounds easy: simply maintain the guild and let others in. But you soon realize that there's a lot to do, and not doing even one part of you responsibility could cause the guild to fall dormant- and even die. Even so much as taking a vacation for an owner can kill a guild.

or having your account kill, because of gaia, so you had to make a new one, and didnt have any cash to give out in a free stuff guild : 0
yeah that happened to this guild, but I made it through!!

I always thought it would be way too much of a pain running one. I could never do it but then again I’m bad at anything that takes time to do.

My friends say I'm poor because I give away so much of my money to people on the street.

I'm just looking for a miracle. It seems like a crummy time to go to school (college) but I really do want to go... and become a teacher. biggrin

the sooner you start school the lower the tuition will be... For my school it's gone up like 15k just in the 2 yrs i've been there.

I actually wanted to be supreme overlord of the Earth when I was a kid. xD RisaBlue the sooner you start school the lower the tuition will be... For my school it's gone up like 15k just in the 2 yrs i've been there. Well, I don't have the money for it. I'm trying to save and set some aside just so if anything should arise, I won't be a financial wreck should I have to take on student loans.
