Don't really hate them but I don't love them either. I love the song Duality and Vermilion though.

Yeah, they must be good if they have such a huge fan base but i've never really heard anything other than the popular songs like Duality (which i think is really good).

I like Vermilion, Duality, and Wait and Bleed. Other then that I haven't heard any other songs.

There are a few songs of theirs that I do rather quite enjoy (like Before I forget and Duality), but I'm not a huge fan
Although I must say that they are amazing live

I really dislike them, actually. I feel that their music is neither original nor especially good, and that most of their fans only like them because they haven't experienced better music. The only albums I suffered through were Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) and Slipknot.
Just my $.02, of course.

Thats exactly how I feel, I mean I'll hand it to them for being around and making music, and they do sound good live. But there guitar play is mediocre at best if you ask me. Still there singer is good, but they are not exactly original.

yeah Corey Taylor is awesome sounding. Joey Jordison is an awesom drummer, he's my favorite.

I'll be honest Cory Taylor is amazing just for the pure fact that Live he sound the same as he does on album. Which as anyone who's really into music knows.... thats a VERY rare trait. As for the drummer never paid much attention he is pretty good.
Hope you know I am not trying to be a d**k and argue or anything haha, I was just trying to kinda keep the conversation alive a bit.
