Ok so. a few years ago my grandfather had died and we have been kinda holding off on going through his stuff sence his widow is still there. (she's not my grandma...) BUT she found her a guy.... already... -sigh- SO!
We are going through his things and my grandma's stuff cause it was just left there when she had passed.
Any ways teh whole point to my story is that we looked through the 'computer room' closet. and i was going through it and i saw this ruffle. and i went. " .... o.o -whispers- no. freaking way. -pulls it out- o.o -beaming grin liek she found gold-" yes my loves I found me a half petticoat. and i am dead proud of it. it only has three layers so i took my old skirt that is twice my size sence i lost weight. ( i dropped 45 pounds so far and 6 pant sizes. shirts still not cause i have a long torso.) ^_^
So now i has an ubber fluffy petticoat and i still want to buy one from the vintage clothing store down on main street. -so excited- I STILL need to make me some dresses to wear over it and my corset that i orderd thats comming in hopefully this week. -crosses fingers-
OH! and i got offered a job an antique store! -might just forget about teh library and opt for that one sence it seems garranteed. plus i'd be working around my ultimate fave stuff! well... besides the bull head on teh wall... and the wax people in teh back. but it seems liek it'd be a BLAST.

wow that is awesome! I'm sure that she would of definitely wanted you to have it and enjoy it ^_^ and working at an antique shop does sound kind of fun, you can find some really neat and interesting things that way as well. (kind of like my sister who works at a local hobby lobby; she's always coming home with neat stuff lol)

Yeah I found some really cool petticoats in a vintage store downtown but alas when I went there to buy it someone had already had already bought it.
Yeah that would be awesome I would love to work at a vintage store.
This thread would go better in the Lolita Bible(our clothing) section

Aw thats stinks that it was gone....that woudl have been mucho cool.
yeah they are still sorting out my schedual but it sounds like I got the job. -claps-
i'll be getting 9 dollars an hour! -flails at teh muchness- -earns min wage right now which is 6.50 an hour-

It's an even more amazing find now that peti coats have skyrocketed. 60 dollars I don't think so.
