You should always say it to your children.

You say "I love you" to people you will never stop being with, heart and soul. To people who make you happy when you're around them. To people who, well, you love. It doesn't have to be a romantic thing. I love a couple of my guy friends, and it isn't gay.

He, he... it is kinda funny how some topics spin off into others wink
Yeah, gotta love the western world. At the same time they struggle with the highest obesity ratings, they also have the highest pressure, as you said, from advertisement, media, etc to be thin, gorgeous - model type, etc. The problem with that is, it makes people who aren't fat and perfectly healthy, think that they are. I've known too many friends who watched TV at some point, looked at themselves and announced a self-observed depreciation based on what they see on TV. Media projects the world to be full of A-cut, gorgeous, thin people, and it's not. People are beautiful for a LOT more than just looks. To bad media never gets much into that. I think that's why I like a lot of European and middle-eastern television. People just seem normal- no glossy hair - no beaches full of perfect bods... just generally healthy, good natured citizens smile
