Hot as hell out there... like it's a desert. Answers to the majority of questions I've been asked so far:
Hot. Ranging from 105° (outside, on cool nights) to 160° (on the ground, in the aircraft on hot days). I lie down in the Boom Pod during pre-flight, and I start dripping sweat from my chin within seconds. Without fail, our clothes were soaked with sweat by the time we took off.
We flew almost every day, with mostly one day off at a time, and a few non-flying workdays.
I refueled mostly F-18s, EA-6s, and F-16s, as well as some E-8s and a couple C-17s.
I was never shot at. The only explosions or anything I saw were (at a minimum) 20,000 feet below me. Though it was pretty dependable to see at least one large explosion every night, and fairly likely that we'd see a large chunk of a city go black.
I flew 40 combat sorties (that's two Air Medals for me, sucka!), mostly for Iraqi Freedom, with only a few for Enduring Freedom.
I am very happy to be home, and my wife is glad to have me back.
Did anything particularly exciting happen whilst I was gone?

good you´ve come back home safe biggrin i can really understand how your wife must feel now^^ i really envy you a little bit for beeing able to fly, but if i think 'where' you do it, i´m actually really satiasfied with my current situation^^
well, i don´t know what exactly happened, cause i was 'away' for some time too, i had to work 10 hrs a day (and went almost straight to bed after work) at least, cause it turned out that i needed a surgery on my knee, which means i can´t walk=work for 2 weeks, which means i had to work more hrs/day so i´ve worked the whole 2 months off by the end of august.... i had surgery last tuesday and can already 'walk' again slowly.... but it SUCKS not to be able to do the things you used to do without even thinking about how complicated they will get when you can´t use your whole body........
