I always wanted to do a charity instead of just my random giveaways, so I think doing something for barton would be perfect since I had a lot of fun with my barton event thread <3
Should we keep it in the guild or post in the main quest and charities forum?
In the guild would help only guild members but in the charity forum would get us new guild members..
Would anyone want to help? maybe we can make a barton mule for it.

Well, I support the idea of charity, but I don't necessarily like the idea of taking it outside the guild on the public forum.
Yes, it could (probably would) bring us more members, but does the guild really want people to join just because they are hoping to get some items from it?
In my opinion, people should join this guild because they want to show their support for Barton and feel that they belong to a tight group, not for greed of items or gold.

I invited a lot of bartons from my giveaway thread to this guild actually, plenty of them were not just greedy :]
I do see what you mean though. 3nodding If we made it in the forums then we wouldn't make joining the guild a requirement.

Having one in the guild is a good idea! I was going to make one outside but I don't want to get attacked by every greedy person on Gaia xp
