I've reacently been working with some Silver clay. For those of you who may not know what that is, it's a clay that when fired, turnes into stearling. It's a little rought to work with, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Has any one else worked with Silver Clay?

*nods* you can buy it in various firing ranges (high fire, low fire) and in gold as well. I've been looking into it since last year. How well is it working out for you? Can you make detailed objects, or does the stuff not hold tiny shapes too well?

The reason I ask is because I've been planning on buying some and trying to find a kiln in town that will fire to the right temperature (or just buying one of those mini ovens and some low fire clay) and making a promise ring for my boyfriend.
