Well, I already posted this in the art post...but, hey,I doubt that everyone's seen it. x3  [/img] like I said, I know the pants aren't the best, and his hands ..they were better before they were outlined..and his legs are kinda weird..but its not leather. o3o

Like you said the pants need work, but I can't really tell you how to fix them... maybe make the highlights brither and make the edges less... uhh, the only word that comes to mind is "gloopy". They look kinda blobbish. Or something. (What the hell am I saying?) And by blobblish I'm referring the the outline of them, not the highlights!
Also, when you drew his head, the back of his head isn't big enough. A human skull gets really round in the back. Before you draw hair or faces, draw a skull-looking shape first, then go over it. It'll make it look much neater. smile
The hands aren't bad, the way the left one is holding the hat is sorta weird but the right one is pretty nice. The fingers look smooth and pretty~

however i feel that its lacking in structure
like, it needs a skeleton!
i don't know if you do this or not when you draw, but you gotta draw a matchstick man first!
its like a skeleton, but simple :3
circles for the joints and lines for the bones.
