like, coloring tutorials?
just search "digital coloring tutorial" (or just "coloring tutorial") on deviant art and you'll get loads of stuff :3
if you're looking for tutorials on a specific program, just search "[insert program name here] tutorial"
BUT. sometimes people just put a bunch of program names in their tags with out actually using the programs in the tutorial, so that their tutorial comes up more often. so be careful of that :]
manga revolution also had a lot of good tutorials
i know its kinda hard to make sense of all the digital-ness of computer art programs, but you'll get used to it soon enough, trust me : D
it might even be easier to just play around with the tools yourself and get a hang of things, thats pretty much how i did it (the tutorials confused the hell out of me in the begining)
LAYERS ARE YOUR FRIEND
though it may not seem like it in the beginning, they're freaking awesome
play around with them too
basic tips:
if you have scanned in traditional lineart, set that layer to multiply and keep it above all the other layers
color on standard layers placed
below the lineart
(and if you can't move layers below the lineart, duplicate the lineart layer and delete the one marked "background"/the original. some programs don't let you put layers below the background layer)
and if you're inking digitally, sketch on any layer, make a new layer and ink on that new layer.
color on layers underneath the line art layer again
okay, so that might have been confusing, or maybe you already knew that, or maybe you don't even do the kind of art that requires line art, but i hope it helps
sweatdrop just ask if you have any questions :3
