*Snickers* I'll try my Best we'll start with katakana and how to Pernounce them. Katakana is like the Abc for Japanese They are used Mostly With Childern If you ever find your self in Japanese and don't know who to say a word or such the best was to have them understand you is try to Katakanaize it. Aka Try to make the word in japanese close to actully word. Katakana is also used for words that are very close to japanese Like Cake would be ke-ki
All right here is the Chart for Katakana.
Frist or Japanese Vowels You'll find these at the end of the others symbols So you'll be able to under stand them bester. *Starts to write on the Black board* ア a (ah) ----- イ i ( ii) ----- ウ u (uu) ----- エ e (eh) ----- オ o (oh)
カ ka ('Ca'r) --- キ ki (key) --- ク ku (kuu) --- ケ ke ('ke'lp) --- コ ko ('Co'in)
サ sa (Sah) --- シ shi (She) --- ス su ('su'it) --- セ se ('Se't) --- ソ so (So)
タ ta (top (tah) --- チ chi (Cheat) --- ツ tsu (Sue) --- テ te ('Ta'ble) --- ト to ('To'e)
ナ na (Nah) --- ニ ni (k'nee') --- ヌ nu ('Noo'dle) --- ネ ne ('Ne't) --- ノ no (No)
ハ ha (Ha) --- ヒ hi ('Hee'l) --- フ fu ('Foo'l) --- ヘ he ('he'at) --- ホ ho (Hoe)
マ ma ('Ma'ma) --- ミ mi ('me'at) --- ム mu (Moo) --- メ me (meh) --- モ mo ('Mo'mo)
ヤ ya (yah) ------------------------- ユ yu ('U'-turn) --------------------- ヨ yo ('yo'-yo)
ラ ra (Rah) --- リ ri ('Re'ad) --- ル ru ('Roo't) --- レ re (Re'd) --- ロ ro ('Roa'd)
ワ wa (wah) ------------------------------------------------------------ ヲ wo ('Woa'h)
Any Questions on this?

No offence, but the way you explained the vowels confused even me. And I've been teaching myself Japanese. You've got to give examples, like I did, so that those of us that are not as gifted in figuring thing out can get the hang of it.
