Alright, I'm a bit of a nut, but this topic kinda literally figuratively slapped me in the face.

Anywho, I'm a GCD regular lurker (note the "lurker" and not much of the "regular" there) with a bit of forum hopping every once in a while. Now, I know that I joined this guild to stay in touch with my fellow Bartonians, but I can't help but be shocked when I look into someone else's guild list and find out they're in the guild.

I guess I'm just naive, since I normally don't expect to see guild members out in the forums unless I knew ahead of time that they were there.

Nope. I'm friends with a few and I usually don't leave my own forums.

Nope. I already knew what teams people I knew were on so it didn't surprise me.

Yes, I stalk one of the members I know just a tinny bit sweatdrop

  I have been surprised to find people from a guild in the forums before. Not with this guild yet though.
  But not long ago it happened when I saw someone who I RP with posting in the GCD after I posted there in the same thread, surprising because I don't often post in the GCD at all and hadn't talked to them outside of the guild before xD

Not really...i used to be in a lot of GD guilds so we were all from the same place. I haven't seen anyone from this guild anywhere though...

Meh, not really. I hardly ever notice.
