Okay...so this doesn't really have anything to do with the guild at all. But people haven't done a lot of talking lately, and I just got a tattoo yesterday. It's my first, and I'm massively excited about it. So here you go, everyone take a look!
For those who don't know, it's based off of John Tenniel's drawing of the white rabbit from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. And for those who don't know John Tenniel, he did all of the original drawings for Lewis Carrol's books when they first came out. So this is the original white rabbit. smile
I'm a big fan of the Alice books. I've written research papers on them, given speeches and everything. So when I tried to think up what I wanted as a tattoo, this was something that I was absolutely sure of. ^_^
AND, to go along with that...Do any of you have tattoos? If so, where? What are they? PICTURES! YAY!

I've got my own tattoo. I've had it 'bout a year and a half, I suppose it is now. I'm hopin' to get a second one as well, but this one was my first. Also have my tongue pierced.

I have an eyebrow piercing, and a tongue piercing. And I have an extra hole in my right ear. ^_^
This is my first tattoo, but I have about three more planned. smile I'm going to get the Egyptian eye on the inside of my right wrist. It'll be all black except for the actual eyeball part, which I'll have in blue. I have a serpent design that I want to get. And this treble clef/peace sign design that I'll be getting on my ankle.
The eye and the music one will both be done before the end of the year. The snake will probably be sometime early next year. smile
Aia Angel: I like your tattoo. What made you decide to get that specific design?
Sandra Crystal: The story scares you? I can see how it might. But I find it fascinating how it's said to be such a childrens' book. If you really know the story, there's a lot in it that isn't really for kids...
Deathsye-Chan: How come? Afraid of pain? Or is it something else?

Nah its mostly cause im afraid to get one. I mean its going to be on my body Forever. Want something that will last ^^ But after you get your knee popped out of place its not really a issue wiht pain XD

That is awesome!!
I want a tattoo, I could totally go get a tattoo because I'm 18 and no one can tell me to to anymore, but I'm waiting for my dad to decide on what he wants his next tattoo to be, then I'll go.

 I wasn't sure for the longest time what I wanted for a tattoo. I was also scared to death so I decided to get it on my arm 'cuz I heard that they hurt the least (although they don't really hurt at all). I'm Wiccan, which explains the pentagram in the middle there. I knew I wanted somethin' with angel wings which explains them. I grew up, however, 'round a Christian family and Christian beliefs and always seemed to have boyfriends of the faith. So I put the entire thing in a cross-like symbol. I drew up the design myself, and the guy I got it from at Dirty South Tattoo was really great 'bout it. I want to get a second one on my lower back, in colour this time, a pentagram in red and black with windin' thorns and ribbons comin' off both sides. The thorns also in black and red and the ribbons in blue and purple.

From what I have heard Alice in Wonderland was written about a girl that Lewis Carol liked. My friend is convinced he was a *****, but that made me want to watch the movie. The white rabbit tattoo came out looking pretty cool.
I will be getting my first tattoo very soon, May I think. I have to go to a state where I am old enough to get the tattoo. It will be a black wing for my back. I have my piercings so I don't think it will be too bad.

Yes, Alice Liddell was a girl that Lewis Carroll liked. Personally, I think he was a creep...But I think he didn't know it himself. If that makes any sense to you. It's interesting, to say the least. smile

That is a very nice tattoo, the tattooist did a very neat job by the looks of things. I have a skull and cross bones on my forearm, and my own design on my lower back, it's kinda a a bunch of pets with cross eyes and cartton skulls all thrown in there.

I don't have any Tats as of yet, but I've just finished a set of tat flash sheets for the parlour upstairs from my voluntary workplace. So they'll probably insist I get one of my designs to 'advertise' (I think they're after a guinea pig to test my designs on.)
I'm actually rather wary about selling my set. I don't see my art as something worth selling even though those who see it ask why I don't. I prefer to give it away or ask for a fraction of what it's worth. But for anyone who wants to know, it's a set of 5 sheets with varying themes (Angelic vs Demonic, Sci-Fi/Horror, Asian, Egyptian and a random). I can take pictures if anyone is curious.
