Compare how good you are in basketball to people around you (specifically your age). For me, I'm average/below average. I could keep up with the real ballers around my area but I don't play on a team.
How good are you guys?

Eh I'm ok...or was ok I really don't play anymore since highschool. I was really just a spot up shooter and had the defensive assignments. Defensive is my passion though; its boring for most but not to me. I think I have pretty good athletic ability though so all and all I was ok. Still I'd probably give myself a 2 just because I'm critical.

I averaged 23 points at a league once.
I had a league with some really weak players, we had like 36 points in the game as a team, and I ended up with 27 points and 2 assists. I know how Kobe Bryant feels. xd
Now, Im not playing anymore, but I think I would rank myself as a 3 or 4, as I still get pretty nervous when playing games.

I would say a 2. I'm a above average shooter. And I basically need to work on everything else. xD

First time in a league was like three years ago:
Went from 2ppg player to 8ppg then played in a league a year back I don't quite remember the statistics I had but I broadly remember them.
I think I averaged like: (these are all rounded if I didn't remember the exact ones)
15PPG, 5-6RPG, 1-2APG, 0BPG (it was zero point something) and like 4 SPG. The season is generally like 12 games.
I wasn't even a half decent shooter back then unless I was wide open with tons of time (never got the form down, it's gotten better for me though since I'm playing against better people who I can't drive on most of the time), I got most of my points off breakaway's (steal, run it, lay it in or cutting to the net with a good point guard willing to unselfishly pass me the ball instead of forcing a dumb shot).
I don't like your rating system simply because no matter how good you are against a group, there are always people better than you, that's why I just play pick-up at different community centers now which has improved my shot and consistency. I'm still not a good shooter if you were wondering. I still cut to the hoop for the lay-in razz

We had a guy like that in our league but this guy cleans the boards. No one could out rebound this guy and he had like 20/10 games on us but his team wasn't better than us, we won like 60something to 30something (20 of which were his points).
