((alright then shall we begin class? when you begin a fight, it is usually ideal to post your stats, that way you dont have to go back and forth between threads to view them. You will be fighting my kage. we will begin with taijutsu, that means no jutsu. strictly fighting hand to hand ... or weapon to hand.))

Ame narrowed her eyes and shifted into a fighting stance, eyeing her opponent, shifting her foot ever so slightly. She sped forward and sliced through the air, both fans open, in a whirlwind of silk and steel

((well it isnt really important at this point in time, you dont have any jutsu as it is, i would however advise you go to the jutsu list, and pick out a couple of the non custom jutsu... now time for an explanation your defence, it blows my attack away, so pretty mubh if you are trying to defend against one of my physical attacks you can do it relitively easily. however, my speed beats you, so oyu have to take that into account when deciding if you can block the attack. obviously if you dont know i am comming then you wouldnt be able to block very well at all. or if my speed is way higher you wouldnt be able to react in time to defend but at your spd vs mine i would say you would be able to dodge, but not flat out block the attack unless i came head first at you. likewise my defence is blown away by your attack so i would not be able to block to well, so i would have to rely on my speed and try to dodge. so to allow your opponent the chance in a close call fight like this you should leave your attacks at a action, not a conclusion like if you threw a shuriken at me, you wouldnt say they hit me, you would say they were heading at me like one of those annoying manga's that leave you hanging at the end of a chapter. for instance))

(Would intelligence count towards setting a trap that does not involve genjutsu? Like setting someone up? And assuming my character automatically knows your stats, then I could use that knowledge to lure you into doing exactly what I want you to do. With this in mind I do this smile
Ame smiled a bit, and half-turned, unsuccessfully dodging his sword, which cut into her side, blade slightly impeded by her reinforced cloth. She shifted one fan into the other hand, providing better protection against the three exploding notes she had clutched in her fist. These she flung in the general direction of the Hokage.
(If this is impossible or my theory is incorrect, please tell me and I will fix it. As for the moment, I have no idea how damage is to be calculated. And if it is objective, please give some parameters for judgement on severity of the wound and corresponding damage and other details of that nature. Such as: when does it impede the movement of a person? Does it ever? Can you faint from blood loss? Etc, etc, and so forth.)

((If you don't mind Ignorant, I have been gone for a while and would like to do this one. Your character wouldn't know the others stats or how strong that person was unless you have already fought him/her. But yes, if you were to lay a trap that wasn't a genjutsu and your INT was higher then you could lay the trap and they wouldn't been able to tell. At least not easily. Also, damage is to be calculated almost like reality. Yes you can pass out or even die from bloodloss or chakra....loss.))

((Ironic i will let you take over when it comes to the ninjutsu portion, let me handle taijutsu.))
Hitomi backflipped away from the exploding notes, the blast barely catching him and blowing him into a boulder. "I didnt count on an explosive tag during taijutsu training" he picked himself off the ground and dusted some of the debris off of his shirt, dropping his blade to the ground he began to run at Ame, disappearing he would appear at her right side, thrusting palms open at he mid-section.

(Whoops. Exploding notes ARE taijutsu... aren't they? Don't they count as a weapon and not a special ability? Does that count for the needle things and my poisoned pen, too? Can I throw rocks, or rather, whatever is around me, and still have it count for taijutsu?)
Ame was flung to the ground from the impact, and, using her momentum, braced her one free hand on a rock and slashed at his knees while simultaneously aiming a kick toward his face.
(And you can feel free to comment, Ironic. It's not fair to subject Ignorant to the brunt of my questioning all by his lonesome when I am on "omg how does it work" mode. And I much prefer several different points of views, if only so I may see where the two lines intersect.)

((gosh i feel like big brother is watching my every movements. And to answer your question, ninja tools are considered use of taijutsu, i was just making note of the fact you caught me off guard. also you may use rocks and what-not. also you dont have to get hit by everything, that is one of the reasons i think we need to add in distance to our fights, obviously if blow me back like 10 feet and i throw a punch at you you could easily dodge it lol))
Watching her weapons carefully he jumped back avoiding getting cut, but the backwards momentem leaned his face in, her foot catching him in the jaw sending him spinning through the air

((you don't ave to include actual distance blown back. If it ever becomes a problem of, "My last post blew us both away from each other so you cant bind me with your seven arms" than it is as simple as looking back at the last post and what-not, but it is a good idea to clarify as best that you can the distance between you and your opponent like Ignorant demonstrated))

(( Well sairah, i think you are ready for the ninjutsu portion which Ironic will handle ((((D, Dont go all out, just show her the basics.)))) and prettyboy, the main reason i think we should have distance is for let's say distance weapons or distance ninjutsu, for instance if i were 20 feet away from an opponent, i would have a better chance of hitting them with a shuriken, than let's say if i were 20 yards away. you see?))

((I agree with you there and I agree with distance, I was just saying that most of us dont put in exact distance unless it relates specifically to their attack. I know about distance because several of my jutsu revolve around a specified distance, so yes, distance is very important. I was merely commenting that you dont always have to include a specified distance. Most people dont have jutsu that relate to spcific distances and most of the time, our battles are between evenly matched opponents so it would be easier to dodge weapons. A shuriken thrown too close would really have no effect because they rely on momentum, so being hit by one at close range would do very little as compared to a shurken thrown from a greater distance, though easier to dodge, it would do more damage, but that is another topic entirely. I will try to limit my remarks to standard generic and basic rules of role-playing, for Sairah'sbenefit so I do not confuse her with the more advanced stuff, okay?))
