Hey guys, as some people have been asking for it I thought I'd go ahead and make a tutorials sticky. If you have any nice tutorials that you want to show everyone, post them in this thread and I'll add them to the first post. : D
I'll start us off by finding a few tutorials I found and liked.
TRADITIONAL ART:
Coloured pencil:
-A lovely coloured pencil tutorial using only inexpensive materials
-An old favourite of mine, really good for people who do a lot of shading and use high-end pencils.
Markers:
-A great COPIC tutorial for those of us who use them, even lists the colours used.
-Prisma marker tutorial, although many of the techniques are the same. This one has a bit less details in the writing.
Watercolour:
-Tutorial using watercolour paint, should be helpful if you do traditional watercolour.
-Another slightly less traditional way of watercolour painting.
Pencil:
This one gives a lot of information of how to shade different shapes, lighting, etc.
Lineart:
A nice traditional lineart tutorial, very simple and easy to understand.
CG:
Lineart:
-For colour lineart, this tutorial looks pretty helpful~
Photoshop lineart tutorial, part 1
Colouring:
Part 2 of the Photoshop lineart tutorial
Colouring tutorial for Open Canvas 4
GUYS, if you want me to add more catergories of tutorials, lemme know, 'cuz obviously I don't do or know about every art form. Especially in CGing, I hardly ever do CG art, so you're lucky I even found any tutorials for it. xDD
These are just a few, I might add more later. Be sure to tell me which ones helped you and which ones didn't, and add any that have been sitting in your DA faves for a while and need more love. : DD
other captains note: if you guys see I haven't updated this in a while, go 'head and do it for me.
