I don't care if you people think it's for kids or not. (if you do, please go here: http://www.pokemopolis.net/episodes/epiindigo.htm to be re-educated) But honestly, I find this to be the easiest anime to role play with OCs. I mean, you have lots of generic villians, pokemon are easy to use as friends, random plot items and threats (like Beedrill) etc, plus it doesn't matter if actual characters from the series show up or not because it's a whole frikken world with supposedly millions of little adventures going on. Lots of places to be, to start, to go. SO! I want this thread to basically be a free-form pokemon rp. You can start wherever, and if you want to join someone else in the world just make your character be there on scene. Very simple. To join, just post the following information about your character and I'll put the info in the post below when I get a chance. Then rp away! Have fun! CHARACTERS Character Name: Amy Lys Gaia Name: Joydawn Hometown: Azalea Town Gender: Female Age: 16 Appearance:  (the girl obviously... btw I didn't draw this my friend drew it for my fanfic) Pokemon: Slowking, Glaceon, Glalie,Smoochum, Swinub, Sneasel Personality: Happy, but in a relaxed way. Is cool towards others, but not in a way that makes everyone insulted or something Other Info:Loves ice pokemon and her Slowking(since she is an Azalea native). Left home ages ago and got 2nd in the Joto League, but recently decided to go for contests as well as badges. (25 % chance of counfusing, 76~100 on a 100 sided die means sucessful) Personality: happy-go-lucky type that thinks life is a game, to be played to its fullest. almost always has a sarcastic remark, but shows a softer side to certain people. ((okay, I'm going to start this rp, won't continue till someone else posts though!))
Amy was sitting on the sand on the beach of sunny Slateport City next to her Slowking. She'd already collected her first 2 badges and was now waiting excitedly for her first contest in Hoenn. She'd already participated in a few contests in Joto but had only recieved one ribbon. She was feeling pretty confident about this contest though, since she'd been training for ages for it with her Glaceon.
The contest wasn't until that evening however, so she had all day to bask in the sunshine. She may be an ice pokemon trainer foremostly, but she still loved warmth.

Bree sat with her Vaporeon on the beach. "Wana go for a swim Vapey?" she asked as Vapey noddded. She smiled and pulled off her clothes, she always wore her bathingsuit underneath. "Race ya!" she shouted and ran towards the water. She beat Vapey and jumped in.

With a small glance and smile at a girl who had jumped into the water with her Vaporeon, Amy and Slowking walked to the snack bar where she got herself a hamburger and her Slowking a double scoop of chocolate in a waffle cone with sprinkles. He ate it in two bites and got a brainfreeze, to Amy's amusement.

As they jumped in Bree splashed Vapey and dove underwater. Vapey followed her as they swam along the reef, observing all the fish and pokemon that was there. Bree found a luvdisc and smiled, she grabbed hold of Vapey's tail and swim behind her.

kaisune walked through the forest, looking for a pokecenter. His abra, lilia, had sustained major injuries from an attacking pokemon. Luckily for the both of them, something bigger came along and distracted the attacking pokemon. "HEEEEYYYY!!! CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME? I NEED HELP, BADLY!!!" He yells, hoping he didn't atract the wrong attention. "MY POKEMON IS HURT BADLY, PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN HEAR ME!!!"

Kaisune kaisune walked through the forest, looking for a pokecenter. His abra, lilia, had sustained major injuries from an attacking pokemon. Luckily for the both of them, something bigger came along and distracted the attacking pokemon. "HEEEEYYYY!!! CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME? I NEED HELP, BADLY!!!" He yells, hoping he didn't atract the wrong attention. "MY POKEMON IS HURT BADLY, PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN HEAR ME!!!" kaisune could see a beach beyaond the thinning trees. Good, there might be a town nearby kaisune thinks to himself. He looks behind him, as a feralligator crashes through the foliage behind kai and lilia. "damn," he says, then starts yelling again. "IF ANYONE CAN HEAR ME, HEEEEEEEELLLLLLP!!! MY ABRA AND I ARE SERIOUSLY INJURED"

She watched as a boy ran out, holding an Abra and being pursued by a Feraligator. She dropped her burger and stood immidiately. "Slowking! Confusion!" she shouted the first command she could think of. Slowking glowed and sent waves of psychic energy past the boy and into Feraligater's eyes. The pokemon swayed, then started raging around in another direction, chasing now a group of sunbathers and some kids in inner tubes. He also ripped apart a beach umbrella. "Oops" Amy said embarrassed and Slowking looked freaked out.
