A simple question with complicated answers. Aekea is a figmental city, a place created by the writers and artists of Gaia. But what is your take on it?
My Aekea, like so many other of my settings, is a dark place. Full of dangers to the stupid or fool-hardy, but full of wonder too. Simple miracles, like clean snow warm steel hearts.

Aekea, for me, is a place where hell can be considered heaven, where the black clouds of the factories can be called "clean" and the sound of clashing steel is the sound of music......

My Aekea is a gentle home to those who choose to live there. It's beauty is in its subtle way of life. Aekea is not made of the nuts and bolts we boast about, but of those who live there.
Its also is robots. lot's of robots.

I see Aekea as a place that most visitors consider 'harsh' and 'ugly', but those who have made it their home like to define it as 'exciting' and 'individualistic.'

My Aekea is a "Harsh and Vile"place to outsiders, but the people who call it home, it is exciting place. In my Aekea, the beeping of the robots is a security measure, and and the clanging of the industry is the pulse of the city.

Aekea, to me, is the kind of secret inner workings of the entire Gaia world. To those of us who reside here, its not a cold unfeeling place. Aekea is a shiny, diamond in the rough that just needs loving to make it truly amazing. Also, I imagine the clubs are seriously AWESOME.

For me, I'd say that Aekea is my home. It always will be my home, and it is full of wonders. And robots, robots are always good.
