Personally, I freakin' love Kingdom Hearts, but I generally find their opinions on games (particularly when they have a nice long paragraph about why in the news post) to be pretty sage. Gabe claimed that La Pucelle: Tactics was "s**t hot," so I figured it'd be worth a purchase. And god damn, it certainly was as s**t hot as he claimed.
I'm not a GT fan myself, and I think ICO is one of the greatest games ever made. I don't mind the Sonic Mega Collection on the Gamecube, though- in fact, I love it. It's nice being able to play all my geneses favorites on a nice clean disc in a system that works without the power cord having to be sitting at an exact particular angle. Plus, it has Ristar, another of my favorite Genesis games. And the "Sonic 3 & Knuckles" combination game, simulating the lock-on feature of the Sonic&Knux cartridge (which I always thought was pretty freaking badass) is just great.
Anyways.

I generally find that whatever PA says is pretty accurate. Sometimes the opinions differ slightly, as I prefer a certain type of game more or less than they do, but that's about as far as it goes. At the moment I can't think of a previous game review that I felt was completely wrong about a game.
I like that whenever they're talking about a new game they usually have both positive and negative points, with reasons supporting those points. That way you can judge whether or not they don't like something because of their particular viewpoint, or because it is indeed crap.
Anyway, sorry for the lack of examples. My brain is broken at the moment (5 more days until exam... o.o) and I didn't want to go through their archives looking for certain examples.

I have to say that it is a pretty much case by case situation. They might not like the games I like or anything, but in general they point out the flaws which very much exist. They don't generally post stuff that isn't true. For example the KH comic is true in that it is Gabe's opinion, which is fine. Also the Div comic in regard to online games is also true. So I pretty much just accept the opinions as such and enjoy the opinions because they lead to some awesome humor 3nodding But that is just me.

I hate the X-Box. No, really, I do. I only want to get one so I can oggle the DOA Beach Vollyball girls. *drools at the sexy pixels* That, and the off-chance that they make a decent RPG that isn't available on the PS2 or Gamecube. And maybe to play Halo.
It's not the console itself, although I don't like the controler at all. It's the games. I simply don't like the genres that are available for the X-Box, so whenever they talk about one of its games, I can't get excited about it.
But, like people have said, they don't do bad reviews, just reviews of genres I don't like. blaugh
